I think he may be to pink...is there a way I can tone down the pink..maybe with a thin layer of another color? I did the purple wash to begin with and worked in many, many layers, baking between each one...

You can use a mint green layer to tone down the pink. It should be super light so you can't even see it. It may take a couple of times of super thin to see the difference.
It looks terrific! I wish my first babies were half as good!
Trey looks great! What color hair and eyes do you plan on giving him? Would that affect your view of whether he is too pink? Sometimes babies look so different when you start adding other colors through eyes, hair, clothing, etc.
I think you've done a terrific job! Can't wait to see him when he's done!
I have to credit everyone on this board!! I learned everything I know from here and used all the tips on this baby...
I have ordered a very nice angora mohair in light brown......I am waiting on the hair to get here....hope I don't mess up the rooting His eyes are green....I am also waiting on the glass beads from ebay....
The mint green wash worked great! I just ordered another baby girl kit....
Thanks so much!

Trey is beautifull, once you have put his eyes in, he will become compleatly different. When you set eyes always make sure that the sun shines in the exact same spot in each eye, whether they are turned or not, Eyes are the pathway to the sole.June M from Oz

Wow! Fantastic Job for a 1st baby. You are much braver than I. I've been working on the cheaper Berneguer babies until I get better. I just posted my 3rd here today (Garrett Micheal is here) but still don't feel confident enough to try my secrist kit. I have the Tayla one and want to make her as much like my grandaughter as I can so I need lots of practice. Your baby will be Fabulous when done and can't wait to see your final pics Good Luck Kathy
He is done so well and if you are worried about his hair colour, you can dye it with a permanent hair dye, don,t wast it do yours or someone else the same colour. I have showed Hannah as Jack doing the dying of his hair. June M from Oz
Personally, I think it could it could be more into the light brown, at present it's a bit too much on the yellowy side but that may just be the colour of the photo. June m from Oz.
Wow girl, what a great baby..And a AWESOME first attempt. I like his hair, and I like the color AND I also think it matches his eyebrows perfectly. You GOTTA be proud of yourself with this one. I cannot believe this is your first baby. Your a natural..Keep up the great work, and Im looking forward to seeing some more babies from you.
