Leah i just contacted this group last night to get my own name on the list. Its very extensive, but it's not complete b/c the names listed are only listed if people make contact to have their name registered. Its a great starting point of reference to check with though, and it deffinetly the most exhaustive list of reborner's and their nursery names....

but once you come up with something you like it still might be worthwhile doing a google search etc just to be really sure what you've chosen doesn't overlap with someone else. My first name choice was already in use without my knowledge and i didn't know about the LLRAG (the site Leah has listed above), and the person who's name i'd unintionally "stollen" contacted me with a very abuse and rude email, even when i applogised and explained that i'd meant no harm and it was an innocent and accidental happening she remaind hostile.

So yeah your right that it does always help to have a point of reference when checking on the name you'd like to use.

I think many of the one's you've mentioned above have already been used... it is difficult coming up with something totally original. I'm sure we can probably all brainstorm together though and find something that fits you perfectly.

LOL the whole name process scares me!  I can't even decide on a name for my first doll never mind a nursery.  I guess I will have to figure something out though..  LOL my sister picked the name for my son when he was born.  Hmm maybe there is some weird phobia out there on this *giggles*

Quick question here. How do you all think 'Dea' is pronounced? My mom saw it and thought it should be said to rhyme with 'Dee', I think it should either rhyme with 'Leah' , or have an accent on the 'e', giving it a 'Spanish' touch. I speak Spanish, and this nickname has always been Dea with an accent on the 'e'. Anyways, when you see the name, how do you pronounce it? If you think it rhymes with 'Dee', then I guess Mom's right and I won't use it in my nursery name. Thanks for the help.

 

     Hi ! Yes it must be a hard choose to make. To finda name no one else has. How about  "Babies Forever".  I'm just making my first doll. I'don't think I'll have to worry about a nursery name. I'm just hoping to be as talented as you ladies are some day. I love your  Avatar doll. Have a good day!

ooo ty andrea i forgot about granmothers attic for all who sell their babies she has a safe sellers index you can join, this is for people who buy reborns to look at and know the nursery they are buying from has a good reputation is recomended and been checked and found to be a safe seller.

My favorite is "Andrea's Angels!" My second favorite is "Dreaming of Little Loves." Actually, they are all terrific names. What feels best to you?

After much deliberation I have decided on 'Andrea's Dream Babies'. This is mostly because I really loved the little 'thing' I came up to go after it.

Here in Australia if you register your name ,you have to do gst every 3 myhs, and if your not earning more than $50000 a year you dont have to registewr, but you can check that out. I,ve been and done it and as we pay gst oneverything we buy there isn't much point to it. Thats what I think anyway. Unless you think you will become a millionaire, I woiuldn 't think about it. It may be different in the usa and uk so check it out first. June M

If I did that,I think I'd be the first man to run his own little nursery....yet it does'nt set in my mind too easily.

My vote is for Andrea's Angels as well, if she hasn't already chosen it.

I think I remember that Peaches N Cream nursery is already taken. Saw it in one of my other forums.
