Hi Susan,
I say do what you think will look the best. I know it's exciting to get the doll done and it's hard to wait, but if you don't think the black will look good, then don't use it because you won't be happy with her in the end. If at all possible, wait for the color that you ware wanting. It won't be fun waiting on the mohair to come in, but you'll be happy you did! But on the other hand, if you think the black may look good on her, then you could go ahead and use it. It really depends on the skin color if the black will go with sassy. Just use your best judgement. She'll turn out great, whatever you decide to do! Good luck and can't wait to see her finished!

Thanks tracy! It is really hard to wait but I think you are right. I´m going to meditate about it and chose what color i´m going to use on her. =)

I'm really sorry you haven't received your mohair, because there's no doubt that if you had the brown, that's what you would want to use. It's so hard when you really feel ready to continue or complete a baby, and you have to wait.

I'll be hoping that your mohair comes on Monday!

contact the supplier you have order the light brown from and ask if it is actually coming back into stock. Some people leave products on their sites that are out of stock but are no longer able to get... for it to have been a fe months already with no show i'm guessing that the supplier can no longer get it... or she's lost or forgotten your order.

it sounds you have your heart set on a lighter hair colour, find out whats going on from your supplier and if she can't get it, get your money back and look else where. Someone is sure to have a lovely light brown that they have in stock and can get sent out to you most likely within the week.

Rosemarie, it´s horrible to wait and wait for weeks! I just want to gave life to little Sassy! =)

Naomi, I order the hair to Secrist! and I talk to they a week ago and they said me that the mohair is out of stock... so sad! Yesterday I send them a e-mail asking for the mohair again or for the posibility of changing the color I order for some dark brown.
So I now have to wait untill monday for the response. Now I´m asking myself... is someone having the same problem whit the light brown mohair from secrist or it´s just me! =(

i've not used the secrist mohair as yet. i hope they get back to you quickly once the office reopens monday
