Hola Tamara! yesterday I was playing whit the camera taking pics to my newest baby Isabella and I think the pics came out pretty well. Here´s what I do: I build a little special spot for put the baby in, a very soft place whit nice blankets, then I put a white backgruond on the wall, the I let the light falls in a very nice way and finally just play whit the camera! Pose the baby in very special ways, like the real little ones does....I don´t use the flash of the camera because it maks the baby looks unreal. It just about having fun, enjoy, let your imagination free and specially capture the best of your baby! =) I think a special tip is: sunlight!
Hi Tamara. Could you ellaborate on what problems you are having, are the skin tones looking washed out, or too dark, if you can let me know what camera and lens you are using i might be able to help with what settings to use and when, do you have an off camera flash, or just the one on camera?

How do you take pictures and get them on the forum? I'm really new to this and don't know how to do everything yet. I been working on my first baby and would like to show what I've done so far and get everyone's judgement on how it looks. Thanks!!
linda do you have a digital camera? if so take some pics of your baby, plug your camera into your computer to get the pics onto your computer. then when you post a new topic in the Artist showcase (the only place on the forum we are meant to post pictures), there is an "attach image" thingy under the text/typing box. Click this and then it will open image attachment thingys. click browse find where you saved the pictures on your computer and double click on the image you want to upload. when you've finshed choosing your pics click the "upload files" button at the bottom... this may take some time. once they are all uploaded you'll be able to click the "post topic" button and your images should be on display in your msg
hope that helps.

how to photograph... there are one or two posts on this so have a look in those topics about posing etc.
as for technical issues such as wash out and flash etc, it really depends very much on your camera type and brand and your camera settings.
Also depends on how close to your baby your shooting... if your too close with the flash on you'll white it out... i try to put a little distance so the flash fills in the colours and not wipe it out, but to get in close i use the zoom. This way i have pics that are real close up's but not effected from too much flash whiting out the baby or reflecting off it.
