Thanks ladies! I took her legs off tonight and her head as I needed more stuffing in the chest. She was collapsing a bit too much. Also I didn't have enough stuffing in the knees. Live and Learn, right?
I feel like I love that sculpot. I am going to order her again this time with 3/4 limbs as the kit one is 1/4, and I will try her again with better hair that stays inside the head!
Well hello everyone! I have finished my poor Finlay sculpt who is now Rowan Michael. He is my sick baby now here are some pics of him. I wanted to sell him but now I feel so bad there is no way I'm letting him go. So I introduce to you Rowan Michael.....

He's beautiful! I'd buy him, I see no reason he wouldn't sell unless you just fell for him! He's precious! Congrats and now things are looking up right? Take care and get on the next ride! G

Oh he's adorable!! I think you wouldn't have any problem selling him if you choose to. I would just write up a good story to go with him, but he's awesome!
Thanks Ladies I guess I'm just skiddish about it since that whole false claim thing with the last woman. That baby was in perfect condition and you see what happened there. I guess I don't want to give any reason for trouble with him.
I guess I could write him up as a sick baby but I feel buyers will see he has a flaw and I'm calling him a sick baby. I know of a family that has a daughter and like everyone they seemed to be hit particularly hard financially. They have a daughter that wants a doll so bad and they can't afford one (the kids really have no toys at all). So my daughter suggested giving him to her. My first response was " Are you insane!?" I told her I'd worked so hard on him and would be upset if she damaged him.
I don't know, I've had the night to think about it and am still in the air. They don't know anything about reborns so I think I'll go visit them and show him to her. See how she reacts and handles him. I'll let you know what happens when I do.
Thanks for the compliments Honeyloves I bought the pacifier at Walmart, I think it was like $4.97 for a two pack.
okay so on the (second page) of this topic ,,,13th post (its by tina w.) there is picture of a baby that has like a sucky kinda lip black hair and a little pink outfit that says cutie i lloovvee her does anyone know what sculpt she is :) ??
I don't know which sculpt that is but you might pm Tina and give her the infomation on where to locate those pics. She would be the one to tell you for sure hun! :D
Hello Everyone After a tough busy weekend, I've finally finished the kiddies and have taken some pics. Here they are.....You all know Rowan already. After him there is the new girl....I named her Wunne Peshau (Beautiful Flower). I loved this kit and will be keeping her as she reminds me so much of my daughter. In fact, the teal/pink heart outfit is the actual outfit my daughter wore home from the hospital 19 1/2years ago!
If I can find a way to upload the video, I will put up the video of her "breathing"
Rowan is a very handsome little boy! I'll bet you are proud of him. I've gotta say, tho', that I really don't like photos of babies with pacifiers in their mouths. You can't see the mouth and so can't really see their expression. This is probably just a personal thing with me. Just need to get it off my chest.
LOL Poppycat! She lets me sit him and he's such an angel! hehehe
Thank you all for the wonderful comments too!
He's a Finley sculpt by Sheila Michael. I wasn't sure about him but I really enjoy him now. You know some kits don't look so cute......I see the cute ones and them I'm disappointed when I finish them. So when I saw him I kinda scratched my head and thought "what the hey" and I'm happy I did. Now I can't stop looking at him. When my kids go to school I take him out and hold him. If they see me they'll think I've really gotten too attached! hehehehe

Hi Ashley, I did pm you about her today, sorry haven't been on in forever! So busy since my FIL's passing in November and then holiday's and just one thing after another...but I have missed everyone here =( and I hope everyone is well. Anyway, She's Angie by J. Gwinn.
i dont think its the one i was talking about heres a link to the picture :)http://files.activeboard.com/390468?AWSAccessKeyId=1XXJBWHKN0QBQS6TGPG2&Expires=1298505600&Signature=KOHk931ND2ehRvDjaha4YAWlDv0%3D
Rowan Michael is such a little sweetie, and with that expression I think I would have to keep him too. He just looks like he needs to be snuggled. A lot of people would probably feel the same way I bet! I love his hair, you did a lovely job on it

knitting, crocheting, and making dolls.....now that's what I call a good time!
Thanks so much June and Knitmomdolls After constant edging from family and the lack of something to do at the moment, I decided to put Rowan up for adoption. I wrote him up as a sick baby. A baby that is under the weather with a cold I posted the most adorable pics (I think) that would try to touch a potential buyers heart.
At first I said he had pink eye. Eeewwwww bad idea! First he had alot of hits with 6 watchers then 5, then 4, then.......I figured I'd better fix the write-up before this turns out bad.
So I changed it to him having a cold with extra tearing eyes and redness from rubbing them. Well so far so good, hits are steady and followers are back at 6 last I checked. I don't know....would either of these pics tug at your heartstrings?
Emily, keep up the faith with little Rowan Michael. If you end up going a long time without any bids you could always change the listing to say that he is a sweet tired little boy who has had a long day spent being oooed and aaahhhed over by many loving admirers. But as it is I agree that any soft hearted person would be hard pressed to resist his sweet little face.

That's what I'm thinking too. Change his description to something sweeter, such as he's worn out from all his many admirers or something. But he is absolutely adorable, I think.
Where is he listed? I couldn't find him on Ebay.

ive had my baby twice on ebay, had lots of watchers and had bids the second time, but i put a reserve on him as i dont want to just give him away and people just dont seem to want to pay the price, even though i wasn't making a lot of profit off him myself, gona leave it a bit and put him on again, i have a Morgan sculpt nearly ready too, just waiting for the right clothes to catch my eye for her.

Thanks Ladies for the encouragement. I was bummed so I just took a breather.....I did change the description, kinda. I took out the pink eye (yeah ewww) and just said he had a cold and made it sound so irresistably sweet that you'd just want to cuddle him. It worked He was adopted to a woman in New York. She then said he was pinker than the pics showed but just as cute. I don't know why but that made me feel so bad I guess I was hoping he would be well received.
But yeah.....Then I put up my girl without the breather. I decided to because she wasn't quite how I wanted her to keep her so I put her on ebay. She sold to a woman, then the woman never paid. I kept sending her emails to find out what happened, only for her to say she bought another baby already. Can you believe that! She won the bid and then just left it like that.
At first I wondered if it was the woman who did it to me before. Maybe she was angry because I blocked her now. Sounds paranoid he? This person had just signed up to ebay the day before. Now I have to wait to open up an unpaid item case so I can relist her. I asked ebay why can't I block people with low or no feedback scores and they said they can't do that right now. There is no way to do it.
Man, I don't know about this whole ebay thing. I just keep having these problems.
I'm so glad to hear that your sweet little guy sold, that is really great Please don't feel bad about the lady saying that he looks pinker in person than she thought. Remember that pictures really do look so different, not to mention that all computer monitors show things differently as well.
I am very sorry about your bad situation with your little girl doll. People really don't have any moral values that do things like that! It is plain wrong It leaves a person wondering if there isn't a better way to somehow make sure the person pays before the transaction is finished on ebay. This just happens too many times. You would think that ebay could figure out some way to make it more secure.
I really hope that you end up selling her soon to someone who is a serious bidder.

Thanks, I hope so too. I checked the woman's feedback and it is still 0 so I do feel that someone just wanted to play games. Well I have to wait two more days then I can relist her. Oh humm
Thanks I took her to my friends house and she was floored! She couldn't believe I made it for her The look on her face said it all for me, I was glad to have done that for her. She can't wait for her husband to get home to show him.
Thank yo so much! They asked me to go over yesterday bc at the equinox ceremony over the weekend a woman came and gave her another reborn! Wow is she happy or what! But my friend had some issues with it being dirty and the hair had stuff in it. She said the woman said she paid good money for it and she wanted me to take a look to see if the hair can be fixed.
I went yesterday and I don't know who the woman was but she didn't take care of the doll. I was kinda dirty, and the hair looked like the artist slathered on some glue and put the hair on it. It was glue peeling off that made the hair weird. The doll was a silicone doll though and I liked the feel of it! I want to try one now. But the doll had no skintone to it that I could see, only on the lips and toes. I don't know if it faded or what She was looking at me for approval and I told her about the hair but couldn't bring myself to tell her the rest. My friend kept looking at mine and saying how happy she was and made comments on the difference. The other doll didn't even have eyelashes or eyebrows. Hummm, I don't know but I think the previous mother was ripped off or she had the doll for some time and let a child get to it.
She's happy to have another but you can see the disappointment and confusion on her face too.
Maybe?? But I think I have to get paints specifically for silicone?? I read somewhere that someone said they were expensive, I don't know I've never seen or heard of it before this week really. I think she would let me but the hair is a real challenge, I would definately have to find out how to remove it.
I have finished Kyle now Myles. He was born today at 3:13pm. Here are a few of his pics. I was a bit disappointed because the hair was curly mohair but it is not curling at all. It just stands straight up on his head! I trimmed it shorter hoping it would curl, still hasn't so, I hope someone will love him just the way he is.....
Here's Secrist's Paris...he's a boy! No way could I see this face as a girl no matter what, even wigged it would still look like a boy to me. I am giving him free to my 14 yr. old neice. He's wearing her little brother's actual baby sleeper 0-3 and it's too big! LOL
He needs a preemie size, but it's more sentimental in her brother's clothes. SHHHHH- it's a surprise for her!
In the middle picture he is thinking hard ...someone told him life is gonna be tough and he will probably never own a home of his own and have to hope one day he can get a job...The Baby Thinker
