She was rooted Dee. I have since started to use smaller needles and even tried painting a scalp. I'm trying. :). Iput up some new pics of my babies..would love your feed back.

I think your babies are as cute as can be, and I can't see anything that I could recommend improving from the photos. I think you do a wonderful job.

Okay ladies, you were right she did go really fast and the rooting was in no time completed, It seems like I just can't get the spiral down hmm

!!!! Any suggestions that i could try for next time? and here is the little mini I did last night all finished and sold her today!!! I am sooo excited I sold a reborn yea it was a little 6" Reborn but Hey i need to start somewhere!! Woot go me!!! LOL I am soooo happy i can't stand myself... Ready for any critque you may have for me!!!!

I'm so glad you all think they came out okay. The rooting is still something to get used to to make those swirls. But you know, I did Margaret with the 43g German forked and then Thomas with a 38g Ultra so, I don't know. I kinda like the 38g better blankstare

I don't know, it seems like the holes are not as noticable. Again, thanks for the nice comments. I need to wait for more weighting materials for Thomas. I don't quite have enough. I hope to have him finished by the weekend. I also want to get him another outfit for his debut smile

My little hispanic girl is almost ready to root as well. Hope to see some new little faces soon? Ladies?

I hope to sell mine that I've just finished. She's the first one that I think is worthy of an auction. I just don't know where to even start. Ladies if anyone knows can you offer some advice? I'm going to buy a template for auction but I know nothing about selling on ebay. Hopefully someone will buy.
I don't know if you like my rooting but I lightly sketch my pattern and then follow it. I'm still learning so it's not perfect but it sure did help ALOT!

Thank you!!! she was not hard to do... but was tetitous(spelling is terrible) to do when it came to doing the rooting on her. I stuck myself more than i can count on one hand..lol and her head flew accross the living room almost hitting my mom lol know thats what I call a reborn on strict!!!!.... lol

LOL That is so funny! lol I did the same thing on Thomas and my son looked laughed and said "heads will roll for that one!" lol It was so funny. But the finger pricking isn't funny.

It hurts indeed. Again good job, due to my hands I couldn't work on a mini for long rooting. My hands cramp.

Well, here is my latest baby, and a custom baby sold to 13 year old girl in Bartlett, TN & made to look like her & she is biracial with hazel green eyes...she is Shyann by Aleina Peterson & she is 5.2 pounds & with baby fat in body & plasic pellets & glass large beads for weighting...imbedded in the fluff filler in center of body with baby fat around it as she wanted her heavy & as you know not such a large baby with fine glass beads extremities & plastic pellets in the head...She is 19 inches long & being so fat she can wear the 0-3 month sizes too & newborn..fits best though...her eyebrows are rooted at little girls request & hair painted & then rooted also at her request & I got 200.00 for her...She has 2 magnetic bows & 2 pacifiers magnetic & a magnetic bottle that can be propped up & looks cute...Anxious to hear from little girl & she should get her Thur. or Fri...

Hello Ladies hope you all are doing well. Here are some pics from Margaret's photo shoot today. She is getting her pics ready for her Ebay debut. Let me know if you think she's ready. I'm pleased with her but I made her smile so I want some honest critiques please. Thomas is about to have his photo shoot tomorrow. His pics will be up when finished.

Thank you so much for your comments! I didn't know if he'd turn out okay but I'm happy with the results. I showed him to my neighbor and she couldn't believe it! She said he was starting to freak her out he looked so real. She told me to be careful because someone would call the authorities if they knew I kept children wrapped in a basket! LOL I plan to take him out as soon as I get a car seat. For some reason the shopping carts at the markets here don't have the infant seats anymore cry

That is one thing I haven't done yet, I'm not sure if it's courage or lack of time to go out anywhere, but I'm going to have to give it a whirl sometime. I think it would be fun, either people think your nuts and therefore don't say a thing to you and steer clear or they come up to you cooing at the baby LOL

Thank you all sooo much! I hope to take som pics as soon as my leg feels better. I slipped on my parents stairs and the pain has been incredible. Can finally walk but still with pain. I hope to have her official pics up by the weekend.
