Hello everyone,

I thought that Secrist had some shoes for sale for the preemies a couple of months ago, but I can't find them anymore.
Am I wrong or are they sold out?

Hi! I don't know about Secrist selling shoes, but I wanted to tell you about a seller on ebay that sells the most adorable little shoes you can find! The little tennis shoes are beyond cute! aww Do a search for this womans member name-dollsforu2

Thanks for you reply.
She has the most gorgeous shoes, but the shipping costs are enormous. They are about 3 times the costs of the shoes to the US alone. I am afraid that to Europe it will even be higher.  If it wasn't with Secrist I must have seen them elsewhere. So I keep looking!

You are right, Secrist did sell shoes.  I noticed a while back that they aren't on the website anymore.

Hmmmmm, I don't remember her shipping to be high at all. I'll have to look again at the auctions I won. But usually I stay clear of high shipping, I do recall her combining shipping costs, which wasn't much more than shipping of the first pair. Tina

Hi Tina,

For shoes costing $ 6.95 the shipping was $ 20.20.
I discovered a site in Australia with a wider selection and a lot less costs. Australia is for me about as far as the USA (shippingwise).

some shoes are of fabric so you can paint/color them to match with an outfit.

Yes, Secrist did have while walker shoes that it the premies. they are sold out until later this summer from what I understand. You can PM me if you need some.

Hi June,

This is an even better site (lots more choice)!!!
I have to keep knitting my doll sets for my babies, so I can order a lot of coordinated shoes in one go.
They also have wigs and shoes for my Riley and friends and my Fashion dolls.

Hi Francisca, I have been making porcelain dolls for 21 yrs and started buying wholesale from them since 1996. They are a good supplier and are quick with their orders. I personally love their own brand of wigs they seem to be more human like and are easy to change into different styles.weirdfaceJune M from Oz

You can go to this link: http://www.avdw.com/accessories3 and order shoes for the little ones. This is AVDW or Apple Valley Doll Works and it is our sister company. The little doll shoes that you all saw on the Secrist site were actually the ones on the AV site and you can just go there and order them if you like. Same shoes, different page lol

Hi Ladies,

Thank you all so much for the links you provided.
There are a lot of nice shoes for de reborns, but what I really was looking for are shoes for the preemies. Most shoes are for the 22 inch dolls and I think there are lovely shoes also available in "normal' shops. But the tiny ones are harder to find.
Anyone any ideas?

The AV white walker shoes will fit the preemie babies. Also if you can find 00 sized baby shoes, they will fit the preemie dolls also. There is a lot you can do with the white shoes from Secrist. If you want to see what I did with a couple of pairs that I did let me know and I will post a picture of them.

I don't know where you are in Europe but if there are toys-r-us stores where you are they do tiny doll shoes and they are very nice.
