Hi Karen

I don't know who sculpted them but aren't they just cute and yes you are right, they are looking like some of the 17" babies, if I'm not mistaken the one look exactly like Taffy!!

I believe one of them is named "Missy" and I assume she is a miniature of "Missy." It seems like they wouldn't make two sculpts with the same name if they weren't the same!

Thanks for all the replies everyone.
Danielle certainly does a brilliant job with these 6" babies. Unfortunately I have to many babies already so I have to stop buying and get making, LOL.
I have a set of the original 6 " triplets that I am yet to paint so I am looking forward to that.

Sorry to say ladies, I don't think these NEW triplets were sculpted by Danielle. I believe Mr Secrist told me that they are by someone else.

But we are coming out with more of her triplets in Aug or Sept I want to say (but don't quote me as I only have 1 braincell, remember?). w00t.gif

These new June babies do have similarities to some of our other babies don't they? Hmmm

Our new June triplets were sculpted by our very talented Vicki Reid, and also Cheryl Hill (who sculpted 1 or 2 of the 17" preemies).

The next set coming out in XXXX/XXXX will be sculpted by our wonderful moderator... Danielle Zweers!!! YAY Daan!  Spaz I can't wait to see them. She's not even let ME see what they will look like  Crying 1 so I'm in as much suspense as you all.

But I'm really getting anxious to do the new June mini-babies!!

I do love Cheryl Hill's work. My first Secrist baby was Zoe and she is still my favorite!

Thanks Pat for the information,  they certainly are very cute.
Unfortunately I have so many babies (including a set of the first mini's) to be getting on with that I have decided not to get myself these 6" cuties.
I'm sure that whoever does get themselves a set will be thrilled with them.

That will make a lot of people happy. I know scores were disappointed about having to paint eyes. Of course it really is because it is one more thing to mess up on ;)

Daan wasn't pleased with the clothing either Rolling Eyes  Pat C. so don't worry. But yes, they all will be the same bodies (Daan designed them herself Bravo , but again, don't like the fabric I guess).

Cat And Mouse Tail  Cat 3 I just love these little guys!!!

Hi there,
I just finished 2 of my Secrist triplets with the bodies and booties from a pattern Pat C. (Shakyhandsme) has for sale on Ebay. For the time being I use them as my Avatar.
The patterns are very easy to follow and the result is great, much better than the bodies supplied with the set.
I used cable-ties to secure the head and limbs but you can also use strong yarn, that way you won't have the bumps onder the clothing.
I just wanted to show them to you so you can see the finished product. I also like the fact that you can use a color you like and the baby looks already dressed.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Fran!  Thank You  Ladies...  I have to make a baby afgan for a shower in the fall, but I wouldn't mind making a few body slips/parts for a couple of people...
Bounce It does not take me much time... I do it while watching television...  got lots of nice colors... Maybe $5?  The body will fit in an envelope so shipping would be less then $1.  Just let me know.  Happy to do it, and will toss in some matching booties.

I haven't newborned any sets of triplets yet - but I'm SOO looking forward to a new set from Danielle - I really LOVE her work - it's just so realistic and adorable at the same time. I believe the fabric the bodies are made of is a little stiff? Could the next triplets' bodies be made out of softer fabric, more in keeping with the tiny size of the babies please? Also, what will the limit number be for these new triplets of Danielle's, I'd hate to miss out on a set?

Danielle's Aug triplets will again be "limited edition" but I'm thinking that they may increase the number to 1000 if we're lucky (that will again be world wide). I'm not sure yet if they will put a limit on the number of sets like with the first set from her.

As far as the bodies, I have answered your question in your other post where you asked the same basic question :)
