HI, I have not purchased any Secrist Larger Kits for a while now and I was wondering what the vynil is like.  The kits I have still to do at home are in the orangey soft Vynil.  I purchased the little triplets kit and i love they vynil they came in so was wondering if the other kits from Secrist are now in this vynil as well

I just did my first secrist doll kit and it was a light shade of Pink. I had the option to choose other flesh tone colors but picked the lighest pink.

babysbreath, I've done about every kit that Secrist offers, including the new triplets, and the materials the heads and limbs are made with have all been the same.  All of my kits were aquired within the last 18 months or so, if that helps with the older kits you have.  I think you'll love any new kit you might get.  Enjoy!!  biggrin

I love the vinyl on the secrists doll kits, I just finished the 2 in the last month, so I think you'll be delighted with the dolls.

Yes, we do have some really great vinyl. One of the best things about it is that it is NON-TOXIC! clap.gif

Also, we  have made it specifically translucent so that you can do the internal wash and it will very closely match the newborn skin with all of the undertones. A lot of other kits on the market are not made that way so it doesn't matter if you do the internal wash but on the Secrist kits it is really great. We so strongly suggest that for best results that  you do the internal perwinkle wash to all your parts. biggrin
