I am fairly new to reborning, I took one clas with a well known reborn artist and completed one Baby of which I Love, I am now trying to do one on my own, I have her pretty much completed but have not put her together as I am questioning her coloring, I think she is a bit to blushy and I feel there are some chalky spots, could some one please tell me what you think, and what would be the best way to correct? Thnks a Bunch for any help..

biggrin  what a cutie..........to tone done her blushyness try some mint washes . the chalkyness could be from it needing more oven time.......sometimes your 08 can come out chalky also which is why i add 3 drops of winsor& newton refined linseed oil to my skin tones........this is expiecaly helpful with ethnic babies to combat the blotchies......with larger babies(32") it help you get the paint on the whole limb and still be able to blend your paint, as it keeps the paint wet longer........hope i've been some help........sage aww

I kinda like the ruddiness of her features. But that's just my opinion.

You could tone it back with some light skin tone washes, just make sure your paint is super thin before applying.

Use the search feature and take a look at those links for the color correcting threads. There's LOTS of help in those threads hun!
