Another Furry baby gone

I had to put down my oldest chihuahua, he was 16 years old he was deaf and started going potty in the house I know he could'nt help it but I was mopping and scrubbing carpets at least 4 times a day I did that for a couple months I loved my little boy but it was time, my son had his brother he was worse off than mine so my daughter in law and I took them together my son was so heart broken it was his first dog he was so small as a puppy my son would sneak him into stores in his coat pocket, my husband and I would get him every weekend to play with our little boy it was sad but their quality of life was not good and it was wearing me down. R.I.P. Tiny and Romey, we still have two left they are tiny's daughters they are getting old too, one is 12 and the other is 10 and diabetic and blind but she gets around the house and yard fine as long as we don't move anything they are happy and well taken care of so we will see how long they will be with us. Thanks for listening I needed to get that out LOL.

I've had dogs and cats and even a pet fox, and I know how hard it is to lose them, be that an accident or old age :(

My sincere condolences on the loss of your 2 little furbabies hun. Its so sad when it's their time to go. At least they had a nice long life and you were concerned about their quality of life. We humans seem to keep our pets too long, just so WE don't feel bad.

I have had many cats and a few dogs. Only 1 did I ever cremate and his ashes are with me. He was my best friend. His ashes, kitten collar, condolence cards and vet records are in the hutch of my computer desk. That was his favorite place to be. You can come tell us any time hun. We are there for you. HUGS

aww thank you pat, I loved my dogs and granddog they had the best of care and love, we miss them so much, we have lots of memories and pictures, we still have two they are 13 and 10 years old one is diabetic and blind, I agree we tend to not know when to let go of them but we did what we had to do. It's good to hear from you how is everything health wise?

Well Dee... healthwise has be "ok" but I've got a long way to go. I posted in the "I'm Happy thread that I will be posting on the health issue in Dr time for me again thread in a day or 2. Stay tuned lol
