Hi everyone, I though I'd show you my extremely simple polymer clay babies (the result of messing about with a bar of fimo, acrylic paints and felting wool).
The last picture is of 6 of my 8 completed ones. The fourth one (I think) along was my 'prototype' (first one made so isn't as detailed). They're each individually sculpted with nowhere near the talent some people have when it comes to sculpting babies, but they're a start and hopefully I'll improve over time! I plan to crochet them each a little crib and list them on Etsy.com, but I'm not sure how much for (including a crib and certificate each) so I'd really love to know your opinions.
Thanks so much for reading, have a great day! -Pinberry
They are interesting and original! You should ask at least $20-25 for each, but it all depends how much time you spent making a single baby and how much you value your work and idea. Maybe turning them into pendants for necklaces? I don't know, this is a jewelry maker speaking, I'd turn everything into pendants LOL :)
Dee, they're sort of supposed to be stylised (I'm still working on sculpting babies :S) but thanks! Friki, thanks very much! Pendants would be cute! I might try them on etsy for £10, then lower it if nobody buys. :D
