this is my new baby in progress, well hes nearly finished and ive had him sat there desiding whether to root him or not as i like him bald, my partner suggested painting his head but as ive never done that before, i dont want to ruin what i think is my best baby to date, what do you think? root or leave bald?

he has blonde rooted eyelashes and painted blonde eyebrows.

I'm starting to prefer bald babies to rooted.

DO NOT paint his head unless you are completely confident in it!! Get a practice head first, trust me....been there done that. I have been painting for half my life (not reborn dolls mind you), and I need to practice and get the right brush and method down before I will be confident enough to paint the hair.

 

Your baby is super gorgeous, just lovely work! I think he is beautiful bald. So if you would like to leave him bald then that is up to you. If you do root him, do it with the lightest blonde hair you can and very very sparsely....that's just my suggestion.

 

But all in all he is stunning smile
