Anything written anywhere on the net is searchable. That's why you should never put your personal info in anything you post.

When you google a subject, like rooting doll hair, you will come across other forums with posts on the subject as well as tutorials...anything is listed.
The only thing not google-bale is emails or PM's. Those are private.
People can read here if they search something that comes up with a posting here, but they cannot post here until they are a registered member!

Yes, we are an open forum so its out there in cyberspace. But to get a "specific" subject or post you would have to know what to google. Like rooting, I'm sure you've found tons of stuff on the net about it, including forum posts.
Since people don't pay a fee and it's not a locked forum (like SR) stuff is out there I guess. I think you can edit your profile if you wish so that none of your real info is in there or just put your first name not your last. I usually give generalities on my name, birthdate, location, etc in my forum or other profiles. I had to get after my kids for posting too much information on facebook.
Just part of the technology I guess with being able to find stuff in google. I'm sorry if you are upset. We are not the only forum that has those issues.
