hi has annyone done paisley by denise pratt i need to get a new kit and i dont know wich one if you could ,could you post pictures i would love to see them :)
You might try using the search feature and putting in either the doll kit name or the name of the sculptor and see what it brings up! I know there have been several posts on that kit in forum :)
Was she on sale when you looked? Not sure, you could email them and see if it would still be the same price. BB usually have good sales most of the time. XXXXXX June.
Yes the kits are so cheap I don't know what to get I like tabatha ! I didn't see where you could have them tell you when they were in stock ? But maybe I could email them ? And she was on sale when I seen her
When in doubt or if you have questions, it's always good to ask/e-mail. Usually the companies we deal with are pretty good as a general rule. I have a Paisley and started him but then put him away for a while. I think I have 3 layers of paint on him. I had to get new arms though as I melted his fingers to the parchment paper for some reason. Maybe cause I was used to Secrist's vinyl and also DD. The BB vinyl is different and I think it also might have some silicone in it. It's very squishy to work with (IMHO)

Wow his fingers melted !! I have a question sorry I write so much here but anyways all the paint I have is the paint that came in my starter course #2 kit here's what they are : eyebrow paint, blush, and crease, don't I need more if so ,what thanks for all your help :):)
Those 3 paint colors are just for the quick paint method. To do "traditional" reborning, you will need at least 2 colors of flesh paint. You can take a look at some of the "kits" to see what they have. This one is good... http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/80596 and it follows the painting DVD.
Or this one if you want to go with an advanced DVD paint set... http://www.secristdolls.com/inc/sdetail/80595
Basic paints I like to see reborners have are: 2 fleshtones (usually flesh 07 & 08) perwinkle blue internal wash paint (for Secrist doll kits only) blush (chose from several colors) eyelid paints vein paint creases paint lip paint
You can get all these as premixed petites except for the fleshtones which are a solid paint. And I usually recommend the larger jars for the fleshtones as you will use more of those than the others.
Haha so I went to hobby lobby and looked for aleens paper gloss as I hear you can make baby tears with couldn't find it there anyways so I found this stuff called glossy accents and I think it might work I'm gonna try annyways to give her like the drool on her mouth look and other stuff

So do you still bake the BB vinyl on 265 degrees for 8 minutes?
Yes if you are using heat-set paints. All heat-set paints are the same temp for the same time amount. And bake each time you put on a layer (or veins, or lips/eyebrows, etc).
265 Degrees Ferenheit for 8 minutes, except for the internal wash for Secrist vinyl... 10 minutes instead of 8. :)
Hey ladies.... talking about Paisley... has anyone have done her?? I finish paintinf mine but I found that eyelashes don´t look ok on her... can this happen¨? There are kits that simply cant use eyelashes? I have seen some pics of Paisleys on google and no one seems to have...

I haven't finished my Paisley yet so I have not looked to see about the lashes. Isn't there room for them or just don't they look right on her/him? What seems to be the issue?
