. . . except the topic I posted in the painting forum regarding Authentic Reborn Paints and not being able to get that nice dewey look that newborn babies have. I don't get shiney, I get DULL!
Anyway, I've ALMOST finished my baby Raine (soon to be David Vincent). Unfortunately, our old friend Cindy at RDK didn't send me the connectors for his legs, and I know if I contact her it will be a year or two before she might grudgingly send them, so I've ordered some today. I also haven't got my beautiful mohair from Slumberland, or my rooting needles from Cindy, but they tell me they are on the way right now. So poor Raine is bald.
I'm getting ready to start on Kyra by Eva Helland (who will be Molly Margaret). But I'd sure like to figure out how to get her skin look right. Color is fine, its just that moistness problem. Any ideas?
I promise I will post photos when I learn how, and when I get the legs and hair.
Have you read the entire post (it's a sticky) in the painting topic on how to use the AR paints? It might help. Maybe you can figure out what is going on. And are you using thinner with them or not? It makes a difference with that mixture.
I think I have Kyra (or is it Kira?) I don't remember any more. I got sooooo many kits they're coming out of my ears! I just GOTTA get my shop together!
