I've actually started on my first doll and this is fun!! I find it hard to stop once I've started and so easy to get started. Somehow I've got to find time to do laundry or hubby will be going nekkid! I'm working on Raine (the one open eye and one closed eye one). And I've found out that I think I do a pretty good job for a beginner. He's even got a "raspberry" because the head just fell over into a little puddle of Sweetheart Rose paint. Oh well... Pounce it in and keep going.
I'm curious tho', as I've been doing this I've been wondering if other people have developed tricks or shortcuts or your own personal way of doing things. Favorite color combinations, brushes or applicators or whatever. Like complete this phrase: "Even though all the books and tutorials say to __________ , I like to ____________ instead." Or "Gee, I wonder if other people know about _______________" or "have you ever tried __________?" Stuff like that. It would be interesting to know.
Now I absolutely have to go clean the kitchen, or else.
Oh, yes... you have been bitten by the reborning bug! You are so funny Brooke... "He's even got a "raspberry" because the head just fell over into a little puddle of Sweetheart Rose paint." hahaha.
If you want the best way to get all the answers, just use our search feature and put in whatever you can think of. Lots and lots of answers. I know there's one in here on tips n tricks. I think it's probably faster that way ;)
You can post pics of you baby in progress in that topic in artist showcase so we can see!
Once bitten, you wont stop. It will drive your husband insane, he will keep checking the bank accounts, unless he is like mine and just loves the hobby too. LOL XXXXX June.
