Happy Halloween to everyone too! You have been getting some really great avatars lately June. So what are you doing for Halloween? I have 2 pumpkins waiting to be carved (the squirrels are helping... grrrrr), and I have to find some kind of costume to wear. We are also handing out candy to the kids when they come to the door. I put the candy in a bowl with a motion detector... when the kids go to reach in the bowl, the eyes and nose glow and a bony hand comes out of the rim of the bowl and tries to get you! bbwwaaaaahahahaha (evil laugh). My big red tabby Neko found out how to trigger the hand last year. He likes to get the hand when it comes out. Must think it's a gopher or something hehehe
Hi Pat we don't realy do anything for Halloween, we live in the bush. But I wouold most likely be the tricker, rather than the treater. LOL. LOL> WE used to celebrate Guy Folks Night when we where kids untill they stopped letting us by fireworks. Sam is going into hospital to have his nose broken and reset on the 15th NOV, his cousin arrive from Ireland on the 5th, so we where supposed to be having a month of holidays. Just have to wait and see ow he goes. XXXXXX June.
You can see by my spelling moistakes that I am tired. Macey has had rehersals for Jazz and Tapp almost every day last week and had her cocert Sat and then again on Sun. The little ones are so cute. Sam was only staying to watch Macey, but ended up watching the whole concert. XXXXX June.
Well I hope everyone had a good Halloween, no matter what you did :) We had lots of kids this year, mostly little ones under 11. Their costumes were great and it really looked like they spent time creating them. We have a lot of Hispanic kids in our neighborhood and they usually just grab the candy without saying anything, including thank you. But this year all but one said "trick or treat" and all but one said thank you! I was very impressed with all the kids! And one little girl actually said Happy Halloween! :)
Only problem is... I bought too much candy so now I'm eating it :( I need to take it to school so they can all eat it.
So you gave out the candy, you didn't trick them first. I must say Pat those chocolates and candy are a killer, Samantha has been buying the ( for Sam ) ony thing we have all been eating them , ruined the diet. Sam's not on one and he said, boy these jeans are tight, are they mine (as Zane has a pair the same), he hopped on the scales and within the last 2 weeks he has put on 3.3 kgs. Gee it's so hard trying to keep it off. So I reckon the kids can handle them better than us, at least the have the enery to burnit off. XXXXXX JUNE LOL.
