I had to have another one of my furry babies put down, she was 11 years old she had conjestive heart failure, it is so sad my babies are all getting old I have 3 left the daddy is 15 the 2 daugthers are 11 and 9, I know its gonna be especially hard when its time for the daddy because he has been with us since he was 6 weeks old, that's a long time to have a pet. My little Peachy is in doggie heaven.
Oh! My heartfelt condolences on your baby Dee. You know, I wish they lived as long as African Gray Parrots. About 50 years or so. Well just enjoy the time with the others you have. My GF put her cat down last year. Little Annie was 20! But she had a stroke. And her other cat Samantha is just about 20 and has medical issues. So Theresa babies her. So sweet.
That's what my son passed away from at aged five. But we did have a Blue cattle dog for 21yrs, I think he was one of the oldest ones, that we know of. He had dementure, and finally had to be put down. I swore then I would never have another pet, but no matter, I always end up raising Zanes for part of their life. LOL XXXXX June.
Thank you all so much, my husband is really missing her she was really attached to him she laid by his feet where ever he was, now I'm worried about the 15 year old he's not sick but old, but he could outlive them all who knows. June I am sorry you lost your son at such a young age.
Thank You Dee, He was a precious little soal and was only here for a short time, but as my signature says, Memories are Forever, Like Angels in my Heart. I lived at hospitals and specialest, just like I am doing with Sam at the moment, but just before we moved from Brisbane, to the Sunshine Coast, the specialest said he would live a normal life and not need any surgery, He was a sick baby from birth but we all put it down to a feeding problem. Anyway, you do learn to cope and the memories never fade, we even see him in our Grandchildren. I think he has been sent back in the form of one of our Mermaid Granddaughters. XXXXX June.
