OMG I have bin trying to fix this doll and I don't know what to do. I have been thinning out the pain but she still looks like this what should I do. This is one of the worst ones I have dont even my first one looks better than this. I really dont want to give up but it may come to that. Please help
From what I can see the coloring and blushing looks great! I do see some chalkies around and in the mouth, Have you tried pouncing on some thinner over it? I've done that before to remove some of the chalkies. I looks like the paint gathered there in the creases of the mouth, when you apply your paint to creases make sure you pounce then all out or use your dry mop brush and remove any build up un the creases before you bake. Chalkies are cause by too much paint and not enough thinner. I always had a hard time at first with that until I switched thinners and now it doesn't seem to matter how thin or thick my paint is. Don't give up...your coloring and blushing is wonderful you just have to get your paint thinner technique now is all. Check the threads for Chalkies there are a ton of ideas on how some other have coped with it. =)
