Hello everyone tomorrow 8/23/10 marks one year that our little Cameron past away so please pray for my family because it's going to be a sad day for use all. Thanks and God Bless
Today our first little boy would have been 42yrs old, I am missing him so much even after all these years. He passed away boxing day 73 aged 5yrs 4 mths, so I know exactly how you are feeling. I hope you get through this day knowing we are all feeling for you. I wish back in my day that I had friends like I have on here. XXXXX June
Thank you forum family, it's been a sad day on top of that we had to take JJ to the doctors he has a high temp and diarrhea and slightly dehydrated doctor says it's just teething, I don't mess around when a baby has a temp I'd rather be safe than sorry because there are viruses out there. Praying for a better day tomorrow.
I'm like you Dee, one sign of a temp, sniffle or cough and I don't care what they think of me, but I'm on the door step staight away. When macey was sick, just before she turned 2, we took her back to the hospital every day. They said she had pheunomia ( spell Check ) but was manageable at home, when we took her =back on the Sat, they sent us home, Sam was ropeable, and said, you get on to the hospital and have her info transfered to Nambour, they said they coulkdn't do that, to bring her back in, when we did, they put a drip in an d had an ambulance waiting to take her to Nambour, previously they said she didn't need a drip. But when transfereing her, they said, Nambour wouldn't like it if she arrived without a drip. When the Specialest saw here, he said give this baby a nasal feeding tube, she is staving to death. It took 8 days for her to come good. So everyone, always trust your gut instinct. XXXXX June.
Temps are a red flag but diarrhea on top of it...baby's can get dehydrated fast I don't mess with either of them. Things will improve for everyone I just know it =)
Is this bad day better yet? Totally agree with June to trust your gut instinct, and be pushy if necessary.
Went with hubby to the orthopedic doctor because he never seems to know anything when he comes back from any doctor's office. Now he's having arthroscopic surgery on his knee on Monday. When the doctor asked him if he has any underlying medical issues, not a peep from him. Thanks to his blabber mouth wife, he has to give himself shots for a couple weeks after the surgery to prevent another blood clot. One of them developed out of the blue last year, and no one seems to know why.
Oldest daughter is having procedure the same day in another city to try and break up kidney stones.
Ready for better times for all of us.
Prayers for my forum friends,
Linda

Wow that's scary,I don't care what the people at the doctors or hospital say either, it's better safe than sorry, today my daugther called me and said JJ has a bump on his tongue I told her to keep checking it, he is feeling a little better today if I have to I will take him back to the doctors tomorrow.
Linda I'm praying for your hubby and daugther, also you we as wives and mothers have to deal with so much but we always get through it. I think all of us here in the forum needs a great big group hug. Things will be better tomorrow.
Thank you, Dee! I'm praying for your daughter and little JJ, too. I hope he's just going to get better and better.
Hugs,
Linda

I'm not religious, but you are all in my thoughts daily, we went to Brisbane today for Sam theysaid he was healing OK, noy that he feels that way. On the way home, Macey ended up with asthma, so back to the Gympie Hospital, just in case. Had her checked out and thank heavens, she is OK. I'll be thinking of you all and you families for quick recoveries. XXXXX June.
Oh my Ladies I am so sorry to hear all the bad news circulating. Dee so sorry for things and yeah definately stay on top of the Doc's. They are just people and can tend to push things aside if they are overworked. I never let up when something is up with my children. Tina I hope all goes well with your family. I'll pray everyone's situations get better. My best ladies.
