I've often thought about adding braclets, blings on shoes, etc
What can I use and how much bling is too much?

You could also add earrings for little girls.

How young is too young to put earrings on babies?
Mine are all 1-2 months old...that's the image Im trying to project...

Earrings are a good idea..but for myself I would question is it right to put earrings in a baby's ears at 1 or 2 months old...

I guess if I'd gamble with 'em..I'd glue them?
I can't imagine that it'll be easy to pierce the vinyl ears..

The lady here at the festival today said she used to crochet booties and stitch pearls all over them for babies, Sometimes some of the jewelery stores here have little baby bracelets that you could have their names ingraved on. Our little granddaughters had their ears pierced at 6 weeks. Little beaded bracelets are cheap and easy to make. also little cheap silver name broches look nice, they where worn on all babies back in the 40's. Also if you buy one little pair of soft shoes just to use for a pattern, learn to embroder( I can't) I want something yesterday. So it is the sewing machine, made in no time. XXXXX June.

I've seen babies at 1 month with earrings. I remember seeing a tutoraul somewhere on it but can't remember where. I looked easy enough though.

I'd worry about infections and the sensation of something on it's ears being a bother to the infant...the baby will fush with it...I really don't think it should be done til she is at least 18 weeks old..with real infants I'm more concerned with its comfort and not so much the embellishments you can put on her.

So ear rings on a 1 month old reborn is ok...

biggrin     yes earings would be fine on that age, the reason its done so early on real babys is that they forget about it quick and their motor skill aren't such that they can fuss with them.                          sage  aww

My sister had her daughters all done when they were babies and they turned out fine.  I waited until my daughter was older mainy because of my allergic reations to the different metals, didn't want to chance it with her at a young age.

I use this pointed little tool that came with a cheep screwdriver set, I use to heat it and open my babies nostrils but I don't any more.
