Thank you for that it was helpful. One thing I need to know is how much space you should leave in the rooting for it to have a part.

Just a normal amount as you wouldn't want to make a specific line for parting because then if it was parted differently than you made it, it would seem like a bald spot or something. So just root normally. Try to look at a real babies head and how their hair is.
