lol Sage that happens sometimes..... Especially when your busy trying to do something that you want to do.. and Bam the computer totally took over and ate your project. This happens to me all the time.

More than likely your internet signal was to low which the internet will loose what your working on... This happens all the time.. LOL I am constently abusing my wireless router... hahaha thats right.. I do... biggrin

Try it again it probably got lost when the signal was low and you wanted to go do another page.. that's what happens to me.. I hate it bleh

Yep... that's probably right. My problem is I can never tell which flashy blinky thing is the router and which is the cable modem so I don't know which one to slap or unplug or hit or whatever. And I used to work as a website designer. I know. Scary, huh? I'm just much better with software than hardware.

tina don't be jealous ,i went to webstarts put in email and password.bang i had a free website to build.so far i have my nursery name,slogan,danceing ballons and my guild logos. baby pics are next.want to change background and add music.i do a couple of things then quit for the day so i don't get to frustrated. trust me if i can do it i know you can.go for it. sage aww

I would love to have my own website. However, I am not that good yet at the whole reborning yet. But maybe by next year or two years from now. I already got a nursey name that I absolutely love. I have it for my baby collection that I do for real little munchkins... hehe but I would love to use it for my reborns... It's not registered with anything yet it's still a baby company that hasn't matured yet... lol

The dilemma with a website for me is time. Most of the time I feel like there are not enough hours in the day. It's a challenge to keep the website fresh, develop marketing strategies to move the products, add products with images, keep up with doll trends, answer email and phone questions, plus work on making dolls. Sometimes I don't feel like I do any of it well enough.

I feel pressure to move products because I also have a payment gateway and a merchant account that costs money. I can take PayPal, too. At the time it was set up, Secrist wanted their dealers to have a professional website that did not rely on PayPal alone.

If I could do things over, I'd spend more time on the art and interacting with other artists and teaching, spend less time on everything else, and try to reduce overhead so I'm less stressed in slow economic cycles. Better yet, I would love to have an actual brick and mortar store.

(Of course, I often forget that I have another sweet reason for having less time--a little granddaughter with me 2 - 4 days a week while my daughter and son-in-law work.)

Hey Tina... how about Tina's sweet babies or Tina's bundle babies or something like that? The reason I chose Timeless Treasure Babies is because I figure my babies will be timeless treasures in the future and because I plan on creating awesome outfits for them from the past eras.

But, take your time to think of one, that way you won't feel like you got the rush on it and maybe won't like it later.

PS... contrary to popular belief, with our websites it's not... "if you build it they will come", it's more on the line of if you "promote" it they might come.

Tina, don't sweat the name. It will come to you. Seriously, like just a few days ago, I didn't have a CLUE what to call mine. I didn't even know if I WANTED a name. Then, when I was trying to help Mactopolis with his name, mine hit me. I was like, OH!!! That's it!!! And miraculously, it wasn't taken. So I'm pleased.

Just stop stressing, and breathe, and it really will come to you.

Yeah!!!I see the babies now!! They look great. The only thing I might add is when you do a rescue doll a before and after picture JMHO but other than that I think it looks wonderful!
