Ofcourse, this is my very first one. I'm only 1/3rd of the way through the DVD. I think she needs more lip color, but they might cover that later in the DVD. I'm also thinking she needs eyelashes, and I've not gotten that far yet. I like her red cheeks. I errored on the side of caution, by using too little paint, knowing I can do more. So, am I going the right way, or is this a complete toss up?
she's lovely so far, when your done with her i'd get secrist speial techniques dvd. i have it and its got alot of great stuff. keep going , your doing great. sage
Is there a second DVD, to add the eyelashes? Should I not stuff her until I get the DVD?
I'll definitely add more color tomorrow. Wow, you guys are great...Wow,I might be enjoying this a bit much. Stuff needs to get done, but I keep messing with HER. lol
So far she looks great but I would add a bit more coloring to her. There are free videos on rooting eye lashes online, however the rooting video covers it as well.
I didn't know my limits with her yesterday. I'm going to paint her face more. I'll try to see if Jo Ann's has hair then I'll get some but it needs to be the high quality mohair. (yarn snob me). Eye lashes, I don't have nay yet. hmmm...wish the kit came with it.
Some people have as many as 40 layers or more of paint. For me it depends on the baby I'm working on and what I'm trying to achieve. If you decide to root hair just use a bit of the mohait for her lashes =) Good quailty mohair makes all the difference in rooting less waste, nicer finished look, more realism. I've used cheap mohair for my first couple of babes to just give it a go and used more of it in the long run (no savings there) plus it look ....hmmmm... dull and stiff =( Always use the best your money can buy you'll see the difference.
