What a beautiful night! I love June!

As I wrote before, there is a Russian web-site about reborning, where girls tell each other about what they are doing now, what problems they have etc. I also registered in this site, too.

I found, how it is difficult to reborn and how difficult is to make your (my) baby to look real. So I asked some ladies from the site-advertising, how much does it cost if they make 2 reborn babies for me from my kits, eyes and mohers. The price is from $430 to $850 for 1 doll. It is VERY EXPENSIVE for me.

And I decided to make my Daphne (I would like to re-name her - Gabriella) and Chrissy by Elly Knoops by myself. Dear Ladies, please, do not leave me, when I will do these dolls, please, because I will need your advices!

Yes, I had some little money for to pay for making dolls for me (not enough for to pay for both dolls), so I decided not to pay them and to do my own DAPHNE and CHRISSY (with your help, of course). And I decided to buy one reborn doll on e-bay. And today I found my little red sun - baby Emma.

I've just bought her - she is so beautiful, that I couldn't miss her. This is the doll made by Sherry Lynn from the Chrisy mold by Pat Moulton. But I don't know this reborn artist and also I am a little worry because price of the doll was so cheap ($99). It is not match with the Russian doll makers price ($430-$850 for making doll only - without kit, eye and moher price!!!). Do you know anything about this doll artist?

I've read feedbacks - all is good, but I am a little worry.

smile    good babys start at around 100.00 here in the us but they go up to thousands depending on the kit/artist/ materials used and how costly the clothes are. of course we'll be glad to hold your hand while you make your sweet babies .thats what friends are for.that is one sweet looking baby.   is that your new baby? what a cutie.                            sage  aww

I was just like you a couple of months ago!..... I had a problem with someone making my little bundle but I was unfortunate, I did research and discovered this great site with these awesome ladies. I started out on a Zoe Kit by Pat Secrist( I believe that's the artist?) she was a preemie. I finished three of the Zoe Kits each one got better from my very first one. So I will make my long story short and I consulted with these ladies when I didn't understand something.... and they never left my side and even though I have done 3 and 1 in the process I still ask questions.. I love this Forum because I am not afraid to show off my little bundles (reborn babies) to them and I love the feedback they give me.

I have started and I am sooo hooked that I can't stop thinking about reborning babies... LoL I don't know much about the artist of the Chrissy mold... But I can say she is beautiful what a little cutie!

She's adorable...this kit has the cutest little face! I can say from experience here in the US on Ebay, alot of artists are having a time selling, the market is just bad right now so I have seen beautiful dolls sell cheap =( New artists especially are having a time breaking through Sage is right, some dolls go into the thousands and from what I've seen they are very well known artist with several years experience.

No, Abby, this is not my work, I just bought this doll on e-bay yesterday and I don't know anything about the artist. The doll was $99 only by auction and $150 by BUY IT NOW. I bided 2 minutes to the end and won. It found out, that this doll was relisted for 1 day only, and before it was on e-bay with 6 bidders but reserve was not met, so this lady relisted it.

I thought that you know this artist... cry.gif(

What do you think, it was the good decision to buy this doll? In any case I like her face and her hair. I think, she is a beautiful girl, even in reality she doesn't look so good, as in the photo.

Sorry valentina i didn't realise, must've read your post wrong. What is it about her that doesn't lok as good as the photos/?She looks like a very sweet baby to me. I don't know the artist, maybe she hasn't been doing it for long and that's why the bids didn't go up that much. I think if you like her then should be happy you got a bargain, she's very sweet! :)

I think she is a very sweet baby as well! I think abby is right though maybe the artist is knew and that's why the bids are low..... I love her little smile she has on her face it's like she seems content with things if she was a human baby. her completion is well done and her hair gives her face the right shape.

I believe you did well and I would absolutely be in love with her if she was mine!
