He has lovely eyes and a great nose. Who wouldn't love this little guy huh?

Don't get frustrated Abby. How about putting him on Etsy? Maybe someone there will give him a home. :)

He is so cute..but this is just my opinion on the buyers for these reborn babies...most buyer really prefer female babies...put a pretty pink or white outfit on it and try selling it again...if it don't sell, try raffling it off...

I'm on my 6th baby..2 of them did not go that well with the paints...one was a Chucky, the other has got a dwarfish body...and I haven't really been trying to sell them sincerely yet...my fear is they are not good enough to sell.

eBay fees are murder now-a-days and craiglist buyers are often scammers or just bs'ers

I haven't had any luck with e-bay in quite awhile =( I haven't even been trying there anymore. I seem to think that you'd have better luck on a website of your own. This is just my opinion I'm wondering how the artists that have website are doing.

I don't know if most of them prefer girls. I look for the boys, myself. I don't know why. I honestly just prefer them over the girls.

Good photography is EVERYTHING. You can have the best looking doll in the world, but if your photography is crappy, you're gonna have a hard time selling ANYWHERE.

eBay is very difficult place to make any king of profit lately on nearly anything.
I really don't think I want to put my babies up their(only when I pressed to sell them,or nearly give them away),the fees start to hurt a lot.

I just can't see myself turning any of my babies into boys, only because the boys clothing isn't pretty enough to make the baby stand out, especially if your work isn't great like mine,I need clothing for my baby that catches ones eyes first...when I get better like most of you ladies, then even a "onies" would look good on any baby because then my babies dolls really look like babies.

I am colour attracted first of all..some of you artist will know exactly what I mean by that phase...some of the same ideas used in advertising campaigns mixed in with your personality preferences.

I haven't had much luck with eBay, but I also haven't had a great camera until now.  There is a lot of competition on eBay, and there are zillions of websites.  In my opinion, all successful online sales of reborn dolls depend on whether the doll looks like a real baby.  The only way to show this is through detailed close-up photos of a doll that is made to look as realistic as an actual baby.  In my experience, the gender of the reborn is not as important as the realism.

I have sold a few dolls (not just reborns) on my website in a past few years, but sales of all my dolls have been completely flat lately.  I really think it's because of the economy.  With so much unemployment, I would imagine even doll people may be affected, too?

I know it's affecting me. I don't have money to spend on supplies, so I've been painting what I have here....one full kit, a dismembered Walmart doll (the fairy/elf) 2 Berenguer heads, and a hard vinyl Eefjie head. I don't even have eyes for them! LOL

It really sucks, and there just doesn't seem to be an end in sight for the economy.
