YES THAT IS WHAT I DID. I GUESS I JUST THOUGHT EVERYONE WOULD KNOW THAT I REBORNED HIM, BUT I GUESS WITH ABBY DOING A POITRAIT PREEMIE I CAN SEE WHERE IT WOULD MAKE ONE THINK THAT. tHEY ARE ALSO CALLED THAT IN THE REBORNER'S WORLD. :O)

thank you everyone. It did help that I had seen Alfonso before and thought about ordering him right before Hayden was born, then after he was born you should have seen how fast I got that kit ordered. There was a lot of shading around the upper nose, but BB came out with some great stuff called creases and i just drop a few drops right on top of it and then dab my paintbrush in it. It works so good that I'm having a good time doing shading etc now. Here's the last picture I came up with for the look alike (The first picture is what I'm working on right now. See the shading? woo hoo and it so easy and I didn't even know they had it there. There is lip and nail or and blush the same way. The last picture shows how large Alfonso was. After I got him out of the preemie body...Someone must have stuck it in my order some how. Anyway, thanks again. You all have been so much help and I'll also post some pictures of little Pooky..you remember the one that looked like a spotted lobster when I got done?

Sorry viv, for confusing everyone with my English ways lol! I think you've done a fab job with this one, that sculpt really does look like the baby! I've always wondered how reborners do portrait dolls, do you take the photo of the real baby and then just search until you find a sculpt that's similar?
Yes..you just sit for hour on end looking for something you can work with..Like with mine, it was that one picture of Hayden that the Alfonso sculpt looks like. Now in the other pictures of the baby, he really doesn't favor that much. Anyway They usually charge a lot to do a baby like this, but if my DIL and son would like it, I was thinking of giving him to them. He's really good as far as weighing him to feel like a real baby. I just don't like his arms. The legs are chubby and that's great, I just love them, but the arms are rather thick at the tops.. So...I got some arms from Clair Taylor's Ayden and put them on, but I hate the hands and I noticed a lot of those dolls have those creases in their parts. I also added a bit more hair to him...looks better. I just love him. I'll get a couple of pictures. So..the next post will have Pooky..new and improved and Hayden (Alf) new and improved

Congrats on the birth of your new grandson. He's just darling! At first I had to look twice to make sure he wasn't the doll. You did a really great job of finding a sculpt that resembles him.
Hugs,
Linda
