has any one done that cool looking half torso--lower half. i was thinking of asking bf for that for my birthday-other wise i might end up with a bq grill or an antique i can't use..........who's he dateing again ...........lol sage
Well, Sage, I haven't done one, but the first doll I saw on Ebay was the Luca Head with the Sheila Michaels's half torso boy. I was instantly in love with this doll. If I'd had the $800 to get him, I would have.
I know there is another artist out there with a new half torso, but I can't recall the name.
I would ask for one, for sure! I think it adds MAJOR realism to the babies.
just saw the sandy kit newborn on ebay, OMG..... is it ever cute......gotta have it. still droping hints to bf...... but he keeps talking grills.......do you think i can sell him for enough to buy that kit ? sage
I think you can; becouse I bought him for that reason & really don't know if I can part with him as largest baby kit I have ever seen; huge head! Just darling. My hubby ordered me Ming Na today & wanting to order Angelica Reva Scheek & he need to pay a traffic bill for me though! This is my birthday month so he is so sweet, but don't know if we can afford all of that. There are some well known established artist & often the people who can afford to spend that much on ebay will go with someone they know, and people with less money can't afford to buy over about 150.00, but I certainly won't sell mine for less. Just depends on how you present him & all & clothes are a biggy with the hight dollar kits. Allot of people are'nt all that knowledgable about painting, but if beautifully dressed then extras they will pay more. These kits I am doing now are my first high dollar kits besides the Toddler I did & will see if can sell them on ebay for a profit soon. The toddler was a custom, and got 320.00 for her, but really just broke even, or even took a bit of a loss, but thought girl was going to buy 3 more & would have made more profit on them & then she quit after 2 dolls as got sick. Gave her a bargain becouse of that; so don't make that mistake! LOL
