By life size, I mean real life babies. What is the size difference between the 17inch preemies (or Berengeurs) and life size babies? If someone could show me a side by side comparison, I'd be grateful!
Well, I guess no one has ever asked that question. It's kinda like the difference in a large zucchini squash and a smaller watermelon I guess. 17" compared to 22". You could also go to a clothing store that has preemie clothes and 0-3 months clothes and compare sizes that way.
I wouldn't even know where to look for that kind of pic :o Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.
When my twins were born, one was classified as preemie and one was classified as full term even though they are identical twins. That was 20+ years ago, and the classification was in terms of size. The full term baby was 18 inches long, and her twin was 16 - 1/2 inches long. At that time there wasn't much available in preemie sizes and the only preemie clothing I could find was too big for her.

How about the size difference between doll heads? Sorry I wasn't more clear last night, I was tired and had a headache...lol...but thank you guys for the quick responses!
The full newborn dolls (22") run about 14" to measure for wigs. This measurement is taken at the front hair line, behind the ears, under the base of the head and back to the start. It's not taken like regular baby head measurements.
I'd have to go measure my other sized babies to give you an accurate measurement.
