I got some Alpaca last year and I just didn't like the texture and I thought the shine was just not as nice. But it could have been the supplier. It's cheaper and the hair seems to be finer, but hard to root. For me that is.

Thanks so much for sharing the photos and info about the alpaca. I'm thinking about trying it. I might have a hard time, too, if it's really fine. Still, I would love to try it at least once. I sort of like the fact that it comes in natural colors. Anyway, thanks again for opening my eyes to the possibilities of alpaca.
