Andrea, I have no tips on what to change because I think it was perfect the way you listed her. And... I consider you to be right up there among the best reborners so I really don't get why this exquisite doll did not sell.

The only reasons I can think of for failing to sell are the auction's end time, and the economy.

For people in the US, the House was busy trying to pass the so-called health care bill, and I think many people were following it. Also... some people are really into the college basketball tournament that I think was going on yesterday. Maybe these events caused fewer people to be shopping on eBay??? As for the economy, I'm sick and tired of the recession, job losses, etc.

Again... I think you are one talented artist, and this doll should definitely have sold.

Sorry to hear she didn't sell. She's beautiful. I agree with Linda regarding the timing and economy. I have had my bumps with ebay lately as well. Best of luck in her new auction.

Oh, those could very well be reasons, Linda. I hadn't even thought of the whole thing with Congress or the basketball games. Ebay is very up and down too, I know. The good news is that I have somebody else (on another forum) interested in buying her, so she may be sold. I'm just waiting to hear back from her for sure.

Good news about the possibility of a new mommie! I hope it all pans out for you. As was said above, and I have said before, you are so very talented with reborning and I know it HAD to be something other than what they saw. I hope the person on the other forum adopts her right away. It would be nice for you to have your money (and her be adopted).

There was another beautifully done baby on evilbay and he didn't sell either. So it's not you at all hun! :)
