Hi this is my first AA baby from a Baylee kit, I made him for a friend who gave me some photo's to get an idea on colouring but it was very much trial and error. What do you think, how could I improve for next time. Adel x

Adel I think you did a nice job, I made the baylee kit she is not as dark as yours, my husband asked me why I did not have any dark skinned babies, I told him that I planned to make my next one darker and maybe twins. I am so hooked on this art form.biggrin

Adel, I would never have guessed this was your first AA baby.  I think he's perfect, and I really don't know what to suggest to improve. Your friend will love him.

Adel, he is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. As an AA, myself, his coloring is perfect. And I would have never guessed it was your first as well. I'm a soon to be beginner, trying to decide which doll to do first. Again, he is beautiful.

I am amazed. Just beautiful!!

Could you post the link to where I can find the kit? I'd be interested to see what you had to work with prior to painting!

Very nice job, although I could never see myself do an AA or even HA baby(to much work)...I'd do Asian if I could afford the kits(most kits I've seen of Asian babies are adorable).

Although it is probably a bit easier,no blushing, mottling, etc to do...lucky that some kits actually look like a real baby, but none are dark enough for me to try turn it into this.

I think you could, it is work though, I'm  working on and AA I had to remove the lip color 3 times not sure if I 'm satisfied yet. I'm rooting him now.

I've seen photos of AA babies right after birth, and most of them are not very dark.   You might be able to pull off a newborn without too much work?
