smile      you can still paint the eyebrows if.......a.....it real hair-mohair/alpaca.........or b...... you have a heat gun. if it 's real hair put a damp cloth on the hair before you pop it in the oven to set the paint. if it's fake hair i'd put a damp cloth on the bangs/ front to protect it while drying the eyebrows with the heat gun----it gets real hot. hope this helps .                            sage  aww                   ps. she's lovely. biggrin

My first six didn't have eyebrows, because I went to a class and she said they didn't need them. But now I paint them. I wouldn't use a heat gun, I haven't had much success, it gets to hot, too quick. Just My opinion. But yes you can still paint them, and as she has closed eyes it wouldn't be difficult. The only thing I noticed is that when you rooted the lashes, you have gone above the eye lid line, you can still take them out with tweezers. XXXXX June.

I think you did a nice job but I do agree with June about the lashes get closer to the crease in the middle after you cut them turn your scissors straight up and down and snip the end of each lash with the very tip of the scissors so that they are not so straight across, this is just my opinion.

I think she look just fine without eyebrows, I still on occassion leave them off depending on the doll I'm doing. Anyway I think she adorable but I agree with June and Dee about the eyelashes Sometimes they are a bit tricky finding the right crease ;)

Thank you for the tips how long do you think it will take before I get really good like everyone else that puts there dolls here? I think that this is the 6 or 7th doll that I have done. I have gotten better form the first one but I relize I have a way to go but at least I know that I have improved from my first one. Thank you again

She is very cute, and you are right to be proud of your work.  I love the way her hair color complements her skin and lip color.   The girls are right about being able to heat set the paint if you decide on eyebrows (although she looks cute without also).  As for the lashes, that just takes lots of practice, and a magnifying glass if you have bad eyes like I do.  LOL.

Anway, congrats on your cutie.

You never stop learning and improving in reborning. With each doll you do you learn something new and different to try. I've been reborning over 2 years and have done over 100 babies with each new one you finish you say to yourself this one is the best one yet, until the next one LOL you see it's a continuious learning process with continuious improvement.

I have used the water color pencils and the thick medium.  It takes about a day for them to stay on.  This is just my experience.  Also she really doesnt need them.  You could just do a tiny smudged line where they would be.  Almost more of a hint of eyebrows.  I worked around newborns for 12 years not counting my three boys. I really never noticed them as they were so fine looking.  Depending on the race and if the doll is very fair..then usually they didn't have any..but still a hit of shadow just to frame the eyes a bit.  Did you use the internal purple wash and leave it to dry?  I was just wondring because she is fair like the first one I did.  I didn't know about the wash.  She was still sweet and cute.  Some babies are just like that, but more pink.
Good job.  I can see why you love her so much.
You said you rooted all this hair?  Holy smoke..you are a  rooter for sure.  It looks so long.
