Sorry....I've just can't get my life in gear

I have been working on the Ayden kit by Claire Taylor.  I think this doll has the preties mouth and lips.  Just a very pretty face.
I have the Abygail kit and did that one, but I found the head was too big and not shaped right.  It did the dippy thing, but I got it back up, but the head is just not right.  I had to send the leg back on Ayden and was suppose to get a new leg.  I went and got the leg out of the extra kit.  Well I was just thinking of you all and thought I'd come by and see ya. biggrin

I think we all have days like that Aviva, I now I have. At the moment I would rather be outside doing the mowing and that is a big job. I have a shed full of porcelain molds to sort out so I can start that part of my hobbies up again after 4 years, but NO, the brain wont let me. Sorry to hear about your head, have you tried putting the rice heat pack back into it , once heated stuff it to the shape you want and then wait untill it cools before removing and putting it together. Just a thought. XXXXXX June.

I can't even begin to get my stuff in order till after mid May. Then I'm gonna hit it hard. I have a 10'X20' storage locker (that costs me $200 per month!) and I've gotta get it down to a managable space like 10'X10" hehehe.
And I have to find someone who wants all my ceramic molds (or at least most of them)! I'm sure I have over 300! Can't do the creramics any more so why keep them eh? But ya know, I get so busy with all the other stuff I do. And then I don't get anything done. So yuo're not alone there hun!
I'll graduate mid May from college (as a jeweler) and will probably not look for a job till Aug cause my husband wants me to go camping with him. Well if I get a job then I can't go anywhere cause I'll be working! Catch 22!

Well, we'll hve to see what happens.

I think I can't do what I need to because of this neurontin I'm on and the other meds.  I can't get my thinking straight and just don't know what to do.
As for the Abygail head I did do the hot and cold thing.  It's just her head is  too big in the back or something.  YOu can tell if you look really close at the pictures of them.  Well I got Ayden pretty much done unless I decide to try to add more hair.  zI just could not get this mohair to do what I wanted.  It feels dry and at first it's all curly and shiny.  It's just beautiful, but the waste is so high and then it feels rough and dry.  I think it's overworked or something.  Who knows.?
Thanks for writing.  I'll put Ayden...now Layla in another post.

Aviva, many years ago, I had a nervious breakdown, the shrink I went to taught me relaxation theropy, it does help, you are supposed to take 10 min a day for yourself and sit and think warm thoughts, starting with your feet and slowly going up your whole body to your head. Think of somewhere where you were happy and warm as a child and let that thought stay with you while you learn to relax. I should practice what I preach, it does work and you feel less stressed. Only wish I had the time. Try it and let me know how you feel. You have to talk your way up your body by saying(sitting in a relaxing position)my feet are warm and heavy, a little bit latter when you feel the sensation you go a bit further, my calfs of my legs are feeling warm and heavy and then again feel the sensation, and so on. Hope you can make sence of this. When it happened to me, I couldn't even do the washing, the dishes, the cooking, sewing,it was all to hard to think about. I hope this helps, may help you too Pat. XXXXXXX June.

You're just a "rolling stone" Viv, trying to "gather no moss"! My husband calls it a "type A" personality. It can make things difficult to do sometines.
When kids have it they call it ADHD (Attention Defecit Hyperactive Disorder) and want to give them all meds. But I find if I can get some fresh air and do something outside it helps. But right now we're in a frozen tundra and when it warms up (to 30 degrees above 0) we go out and its all sloppy. Then things re-freeze at night and we got all ice the next day! Very dangerous. OOps, sorry I'm rambling!

But I know what you mean hun. Just hang in there. :)

Ya, me too, what kind of cheese should we have? I have put on 2 hoodies and some heavy sox and slippers. That helps on the cold as it goes into my soles and up into the rest of the body. And I got a better chair so that helps a little. But ya, I know how those little heads make you feel guilty, good thing one of them is sleeping lol hahahaha

Yea same here about both the back and weather. I don't think a chair will help me though I am in need of a bit of weight loss and I think that will do the trick until the age factor kicks in harder than it has! I'm sick of the snow here as well so looking forward to spring weather! Everything is starting to melt here so it's now a muddy snowy mess outside! Hurray up nicer weather!

HAHAHAHAH There for a minute I thought I was reading my own post  ( talking about Pat's post)...I ramble too.  I really need to get my neck muscles to let loose.  They have been so tight for a year. Then after I had the surgery..that was when mom decided to fracture her hip.  So I didn't really heal from that.  Now my co pay has doubled for PT, so thinking of calling Knead a Massage?  lol..isn't  that cute?
I plan to go to NC just as soon as I can do it.  ugh..I need someone to come live in my head sometime just to tell me what to do and when to do it..I know I have ADDD or whatever...I have to have that.  When I walk into a messy place..I just can not think right...so I just walk back out.
And then I come to the computer or work on doll.

Looks like we are all in the same boat, what hole are we going to plug to stop it from sinking. I have a free day tomorrow, well it realy wasn't free, I was going to sort out the molds and get the kilns fired up to see if they still work. I have 2 ladies wanting to make large porcelain dolls with me, so instead, I'm driving 1.5 hrs to baby sit my two youngest grandsons, while my daughter goes and takes photo's of children at a day care, so I will have to be up and left by 7ish, so she can be at the daycare by 9am. It's the first time she has asked for my help so how could I refuse, see I ramble too. LOL XXXXX June.
