all of the secrist things are marked on the lids but not on the jars. Well I'm one of those people that takes all the lids off and then later I go back to clean up. Guess what??????? Now I think I have everything all mixed up and don't know what to do with what. Can't they put a no. 1 on the bottom and a 1 on the lid and 2 on another???? PLEASE...MY LITTLE BRAIN JUST DOESN'T DO THINGS RIGHT. PLUSS I HAVE MY MOTHER THAT USUALLY PULLS ME AWAY FROM MY PLAY AREA. SO NOW I MIGHT HAVE TO BUY ALL NEW PAINTS...GRRRRRRR. I DOUBT THAT I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS TROUBLE WITH THESE....PLEASE SEE.... mAYBE i'LL PUT SOME TAPE OR COLOR CODE IT...ANYTHING TO HELP. ON THE BB IT DOESN'T MATTER AS THE LIDS DON'T HAVE ANYTHING ON THEM.

My suggestion hun would be to take a permanent marker and put a number on the bottom of the jar and also one on the lid. Make sure it's a permanent marker, but watch for it to rub off anyway and replace the number before it wears completely off.
As far as matching up your color pots with the lids, take a pic of them all lined up and post in the artist showcase. I'm sure someone can help you figure out which pot goes with which lid hun. :)
tHAT DID OCCUR TO ME WHILE i WAS WRITING THAT. BTW...I'M NOT YELLING, I JUST DON'T HAVE MY GLASSES ON AND I CAN'T SEE. :O) wHAT i THOUGHT OF DOING WAS PUTTING SOME TAPE ON THE BOTTOM AND THEN WRITING ON THE PAPER...THAT SHOULD STICK. I GUESS I NEVER THOUGHT OF DOING IT BEFORE BECAUSE I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE.

It's really very easy to identify the flesh colors because the lowest numbers are the darkest paints. However.... it gets a little tricky when if you have the caps off colors like burnt umber or some the the eyebrow colors at the same time. They all look like dark brown.

Oh, I have no trouble with the flesh colors either, besides that I don't use paint that needs to be mixed. I use the Secrist sets and the BB premixed. It works good for me and it's easier for me. I mix the Secrist with BB etc.
