Hi, Your Tina is very beautiful and her outfit is very sweet looking. Did you do her pig tails with a magnet? How big is she? I haven't attempted a toddler yet. yikes..that would be a job to root them.

Thank you so much Aviva. Tina's hair is Secrist mohair, and I just glued it inside with Ultimate glue and styled it. It is so pretty and shiny. It didn't take very long to root. I needed to put a lot of hair on her head, so I was able to use a larger 38 gauge rooting needle from Secrist. It doesn't look pluggy at all. I just go over the head, when I finish, and pull out anything that looks at all pluggy.
I did a Stoete Audrey recently, it took forever to do that newborn look with a 43 gauge German forked needle.  It was worth it though, one of my customers came over a couple of weeks ago, wanting to see the babies I have ready for the doll show this weekend. The customer snapped up Audrey right away.
I just had to share Tina. She really melts my heart, so much so, that I ordered another Tina right away, otherwise I don't know how I would part with her.
Have a great day, and thanks for your kind words.

Thanks Dee. Pigtails are so much fun, we rarely get to do them though, because as you know, most newborns barely even have hair!

I couldn't bond with my Tina, but your might change my mind.  I don't think I've ever seen a cuter Tina.  You did a fabulous job with her.  I, too, am curious about her limbs.

Well, I can see that making an account would have been better, since anyone can post with the same name I have "anonymous", oh well.
I think the limbs belonged to Daniel by Maribel Villanova, but I am using Secrist 22" limbs on my next Tina. I measured them next to the limbs I have on Tina, and they are very similar in size. I think she looks so nice and chunky, because I used a 24" in body on her. I sure wish Secrist would start selling a body in that size.
Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments on my Tina. I am overwhelmed.
