Michelle, your Jordan is fantastic! It's too bad that face has been retired.
I know what you mean about he sparse look. I struggle with it all the time. It's much harder than it looks to achieve the "barely there" effect.

He is beautiful I am so jealous. I just started reborning but not as good as you. I am trying to make a little girl becaus I have two boys. Kind of funny LOL. Anyway your little boy is Beautiful.
I did not realize it was a retired face....so here is a question, I am attempting to sell some of my reborns for the first time at a local craft fair, what is a fair asking price for him then? have never sold any of my dolls but would like to try. If he is retired do I ask more for him then some of the others?
I think it's difficult to get a fair price for reborns these days if you take into account all the expense that went into creating the doll--labor/time, supplies, clothing/accessories, cost of the kit including shipping, etc. I have never really seen a mathematical formula for determining the price, but I'll keep my eyes open.
And, I think there's an "it" factor, too. Some dolls end up looking more stunnig than others depending on the sculpt and the quality of the work--especially the rooting.
When I sell my dolls, I decide the minimum price I would accept for my doll, and then stick to it even if it means the doll doesn't sell this time.
I hope you have good luck and sell a lot of dolls at the doll fair.

All I can say is....... WOW! AWESOME! And the rooting is right up there with the best of them! Beautiful!
Yes, Jordans face was retired quite some time ago. Personally, I don't usually ask more for the doll if the face is retired. I base it on what I paid for the kit originally. And Secrist didn't charge more when they were retiring the face (just to be fair).
If I had created him (IMHO) I would not even consider taking less than $200-$300 for this one, possibly more. Your work on this little one is really quite good and I'm sure it took you a while to do him (especially with that great rooting). Just my opinion though. And people will spend the money if they really want the doll. Danielle Zweers twins just went for over $1900 and $1100 each on ebay a week or so ago!!
