1 Colliii contest winner!!! Great news!

Well everyone...
as most of you know, the Colliii doll contest has been going on. They do it every year. (See topic under misc chatter)This year they had over 150 doll entries!
Ok, so... I just heard from my friend Danielle Zweers in Holland (she sculpted several kits for Secrist) AND she said she
WON the contest for the best most realistic lifesize newborn for 2009!!!
They must have just contacted her today and she e-mailed me to let me know, since we are friends! I am so over the moon excited for her. I believe she gets to go to Germany for the winners award banquet! Maybe I'll try to squeeze into her suitcase and go with lol.

Anyway I wanted to let you all know since she stops in her now and again. I'm so excited for her! She sent me pics of the doll, her name is Kailynn and she is about 22-23" long. Absolutely realistic features and wrinkles. Fabulous, simply fabulous!

Wow, congrats to Danielle!!!!

I was on the Colliii site but couldn't hear who the winners were when they were announcing on the Colliii TV.  A list would have been nice?

I would LOVE to see photos of the doll.  Do you know where they are posted?????

She sent me a few. I'll see if I can get a link or some actual pics posted this weekend in the artist showcase. The baby is just amazing! No wonder she won!
I haven't been to the Colliii site in a few days, did they do a video of the winners? Last time I looked it was still the semi-finals.

Danielle, I just saw your little Kailynn a moment ago on the colliii site.  You are one talented lady! Kailynn is so very lifelike--she looks like she will wake up at any moment and want to be cuddled.  Anyway... congratulations!

It is so exciting to be a winner of such high standard in doll sculpting and reborning, congratultions and best wishes. I'm sure the new Mummy is over the moon with her new addition also. So once again congratulations. XXXXX June
