My custom baby, Brianna Elizabeth, is finished. She was made from the Jen Printy Butterfly Kisses kit. I made her for a lady on another forum. I gave her spit bubbles, rooted eyelashes, and all that fun stuff. Here are the pictures:

OMgosh! She is absolutely AWESOME! And I LOVE the spit bubbles lol I'm sure her new mummy will just love her :) You should be very proud of the work you've done with this one. I have wanted that Butterfly Kisses kit eversince it came out! Now I know I want one. Might I inquire how much she is going for? And what "extras" if any are included in that price please? HUGS and wonderful job!
Andrea, this doll is fabulous is every way! The rooting is incredibly realistic. And thank you so much for showing all of us how spit bubbles should look!

Thank you all so much, ladies. I made the spit bubbles with Aleene's Paper Glaze. My bottle is only half full, and I mix it really well with the lid closed, and then scoop out the bubbles with a small, soft paintbrush. It takes a couple of days to dry, but it turns out quite well. Buffington, I bought this kit from a lady on another forum. You can buy it from other stores, but it is quite expensive. Judy Ann, I did many washes on her. In fact, almost all her layers were washes, because I like to build up my coloring slowly. She got around 40 layers of paint! That accounts for the depth of the skintone, the accuracy of her coloring, the mottling, etc. . . but it is a lot of work and it takes a long time. Thanks again.

I saw her at the RR site. Okay..how the heck can you root lashes on open eyes and there was something else..oh yeah...her hands look like the one on the Kaya baby.?

The lashes on the open eyes are easy, just put the hair between the eye and the vinyl, and then root into the very edge of the vinyl. I did it very slowly, hair by hair, then wet them, curled them, and trimmed them. As to the arms, they are the arms from Kyra. Butterfly Kisses has 1/4 arms, and my customer didn't want that, so I used Kyra's arms. The fingers are all spread apart, so she could suck her thumb and everything. Her mommy wanted that.

Andrea, I still can't get over how real your doll looks. Wish I was her adoptive mom (yeah, like I need another doll....)
I am assuming you put the eyes in after you root the eye lashes. Do you put the eyes in from the front or the back?
