hi to everyone i have not been on in awhile computer has been in the shop. i finley finished my first doll she was paige i will send pic later. i thought i would test her out in public it was ok beening i have an 11 year old daughter that caried her around. i had alot of people come up to me and asked how old she was one lady came up to and said my baby was turning blue this was all in walmart i live in nc. we also took her to a baseball game where we got alot of responds to people wanted to hold her she weighs 4.5 lb form head to toe. this just made me happy that my first one came out not bad her hair could use some work but she was the first. i am now stating on a closed eyed baby i have the chart for eyelids they are asking for premixed eyelid paint whAT is that. how do i make them look real. please help
hello heather, i've done a couple of closed eyed babies, and here's a tip, make the veins very thin and light, that was my mistake! you can find the premixed vein paint on the secrist website under paints, it's in the 4th row and it's a blueish color. it's so funny how people respond to these dolls! i was taking on of mine outside for a picture in the front yard and i watched these ladies on a walk double-take a couple of times, while i sinkered to myself. i hope i could help you in some way! happy reborning, Ivy
I personally haven't done anything to my babies eyelids yet, mainly just not sure how. What color and how to apply them. I can't wait to see the pic of your first little paige. It always makes you feel good when they can fool people in public huh? he he
