Hi Tina here is the baby what I have done with the painted hair. Just got my camera back. It is not my 1st  choice of doing the hair, personally I prefer the mohair. although is much faster and easier.

Thanks, but I don't think I will do the painting thing soon.  I think I need alot more practice to get the hang of it. I saw beautiful painted hair on e-bay and mine (IMHO) is not so good.

Well I think you did a super job! I also like the hand rooted but I've seen gorgeous painted ones and just wanted to give it a try myself.

Thank you Tina. Give it a try, I am sure you will love it. I have done another one and like my 2nd attempt better. I want to add mohair to this one and see how it turns out.

Lots of artists are starting to use a combination of painted/drawn hair and rooted mohair. Looks pretty good for those little flyaway wisps of hair you can't easily root. :o
