Thank you ladies for looking and for the lovely comments! No, she doesn't have hair... I haven't learnt how to yet, I'm still practising. I've had difficulty in buying hair the right colour, so I'm waiting for it to be posted to me. I have 'carrot' ginger to practise with, lol! that's my hair colour too! I've kept Zoe's complexion quite pale, like mine. She even has tiny veins showing on her wrists and ankles.
My first newborn 'Lollipop' didn't turn out too good as I got the colouring wrong, then used thinners to strip the paint off, but then over baked her. So I decided not to complete her. I started afresh with Zoe., keeping her colouring pale.
It would be nice if I could, at a later date modify Zoe and give her hair :o) I'll have to practise first though. The Secrist kits are really good. No ties! just a happy customer!!

Ooh, thank you! That's nice of you to say! I took some photos of her on my mobile phone to show the ladies in church today, and they thought she was real!!
I've only been doing this for just over a week.
You've made my day!!

I know about the rooting I still pratice on small play dolls, I have rooted my Presley and Guppy, now I'm going to do a 17 inch and then a 20 inch, they are painted but I have to order hair and bodies so I moving up in size wish me luck I don't want to ruin them, I think I will be ok I really want to get the swirl right , keep on praticing before you know it we will be pros lol.
Zoe is the first one I completed. Yours turned out very well for your first completed doll. I really liked mine when I was done. I really like that sculpt. I learned from the Secrist DVD's. It's a big help. Nice step by step directions. Do you have the DVD on rooting? It has step by step directions also. There are some good tutorials out there also. To me it's the hardest. And what I enjoy the least. You learn a little with each one you do. Keep up the good work! Congradulations!
