Don't you just love Acorn? She has such a sweet face! You have done a good job on her coloring. She has a nice, soft look about her. And I like her outfit - she looks all ready for Easter.
I do think it might help your photos if you pose your babies, especially the sleepy ones like Acorn, on a squishy pillow or beanbag. Babies always look so comfy if they are curled up and kind of nested.
okay, now I was looking and thinking that I would have blushed the tops of her arms and hands. I noticed there were no hand/ finger shots or toes, some like to see the manicures...the stuff my shakey hands mess up everytime.. Now on the hair, it's not a good swirl...I can't get mine like that either, but it would look better if it was scruchedc up.. IMHO. She's a sweet baby. I agree with the remarks made picture shots. They say to put them into something that cradles them. I won an extra moses basket on ebay, so I started putting things in it..like a neck pillow (they now sell them..lol to lift the head, here at Secri) st...lol then I started putting these throws that I found at Big LOt for 15.00 and they were great...faux rabbit fur. Sometimes you can find pieces of fabric at the discount table. They said to uses soft things and no blankets or anything that takes the attention away or off the baby. I found that I stared buying differnt sheer panels for 4.96 each. I threw them over a colored thing and then pulled it around and tucked it in. LOoks very pretty. And then I see someone selling them on ebay for 35.00 and I'll bet it was a container of those popcorn packing stuff and then something wrapped around it and it looked just like mine...LOL And get this..I told mom if I new how to do something t fix eyebrows..I went and bought some white strips to just mark it off with and now there is someone selling stencils for reborns. So..here's my next idea...just maybe someone will do it because I don't have the money to do it. Why not make those eyelashes for dolls be sticky on the opposite side that they have it on for women???? Know what I mean? It would be so easy to use that and then use the paper glaze to seal them to the eye!!!! Okay...give it to Pat S. and see if he can do it. lol I AM serious. I'm going to look for some pictures that showes my moses basket better. I'll post one that will show how you can use just a basket .

Usually, a white blanket or cover will show up you baby better than a colour and photo's should be taken in natural day light, near a window or doorway, or outside. As for her mittens, I dont think they go with short sleeves, though I know some people put them on real baies to stop them from scratching themselves. She is a very cute sculpt and could probaly use a bit more blush, in some spots. XXXXXX June.

Aw. she's so pretty! I'm just a newbie, but I agree about the poses etc a nice white shawl or blanket shows off the colour of your baby better. I had a look on ebay at the reborn and newborn babies for sale. Some have used templates for their photos, so it looks like a professional photographer has taken the pictures. Some of them look so real too! Hope you do well with the auction, she is really cute! Joanne :o)
