Here is my latest reborn, Ellie. She was the Tabatha kit by Pat Moulton. She is for sale (not on ebay yet), so if you're interested, please PM me.
Thanks for looking! Honest comments and critiques welcome.

I think you Ellie turned out very good. I like this sculpt better now seeing yours. I love the hair too. You did well on the swirl. The hair is the hardest part for me. Her coloring looks great also. You go girl! Great job!
Okay...where did you learn the rooting swirl. I can comb them that way, but I don't think I have it down yet. I wanted her at first until I saw the vinyl with the jaw so pronounced. I have a cousin who's son is like that exactly and they call it a mule jaw. But she looks really cute. you did a perfect job on her..better than her prototype I believe. Now that's a complilment.

Thank you all for all the lovely comments. I love this kit, her pouty lip just melted my heart when I saw her. I'll be glad to share what I did for her rooting. I used very good mohair, I used German forked needles in size 42, and I did directional rooting. It really helps me to have pictures of a real baby's swirl in front of me, and then point my needle in the direction I want the hair to go. I root from the outside in until I have a circle left with a 3"-4" diameter, then I root from the center out, always swirling. Because it's directional rooting instead of combing it into a swirl, the hair is always this way. The picture is of the dry hair, this really is what it looks like. And 1-2 hairs at a time really helps, too. I would be glad to answer any other questions you may have about it, too. Thank you again.

By the way, I just thought I'd note that she is only my 7th baby. :)

I wasn't crazy about this kit either but you've done a nice job on her esp for it being only your 7th reborn. Here's a great tutorial in the forum for swirls. TOPIC: So inspired HAIR
