My newest baby has an "owie"

I just couldn't give up on this one because of my clumsy mistake. Babies are always scratching themselves anyway.

Her hair is natural blonde, un-dyed, straight from the goat. I use the un-dyed whenever I can get it - no worries about the dye running or fading.

Even though I don't mind the rooting, I do find it tedious. So I take a lot of breaks and it takes me a long time to root a head. But, since my time is my own (retired), that works for me.

May I ask you what is the strap that is holding your sweet Taite's diaper together? That's the only one I've ever seen like it and I'm curious.

It is a rubber nappi fastner, (now it is old fashion,) it replaced the nappi pin, but is still handy. I just love them. It has hooks on the end and you just pull and hook the snappi strap. you get them in variuos colors.

I have several angora goat hydes and one is that nice blondish color. Maybe I'll use that on one of my babies.
