Most manufacturers do not do this. They will make a set of limbs for a certain kit and that's what you get. I think some of the dealers might let you switch limbs or you can buy 2 sets of limbs and just use one kind with the other one.

Secrist has started making all the parts available separately and now some don't like that either. So you can't please everyone it seems.
