Photo is of my little grandson Jake, who was two on Remembrance Day. This picture was taken on a beautiful warm day in October. Hard to remember now that we have 41cms of snow on the ground! Biggest snowfall in recorded history in the Vancouver area of British Columbia!
Very happy holidays to all of you, I'm thinking of all you lucky people living in warmer climates! Linda in B.C.
Thank you for the sweet compliments on this lovely, little boy Rosemarie! In good lighting, his eyes are like a bright, blue sky. I have four grown children and Jake is most likely the only grandchild we will have. He's definitely a keeper! Linda in B.C.
Well your little Gumdrop is adorable, as is your little Jake. What a georgeous little face. I'll say he's a keeper! I only have an adopted grandson from my foster daughter who lives far away in another state. I only get to see him about once a year, he's 13 now. They moved away when he was 5. :(
I have 2 children (both girls) and the first one (32) says "no grandkids mom!" and the younger one is only 19 and has lots to do and also says "no grandkids mom". So we'll see.
Enjoy your little one there as they too soon grow up!
Oh, here is a pic of one of my students first reborn, also Gumdrop...
Dear Pat, Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I actually worked this past week! I'm a retired person, but do occasional work at a local college when the new semesters start up. 3 times a year. A perfect little job!
I have three daughters 36,34,32 and a 27 yr old son. Middle daughter gave us this lovely grandson the other three aren't even slightly interested in adding to the family. If they need any 'baby time' they babysit. They'd rather travel and have any free time to themselves.
Do you teach many classes? I'm still learning and there are no classes in our area at all. So it's a self-learned hobby here on the west coast, but it's very enjoyable too! Happy New Year greetings very belated! Linda, in B.C.
I don't know what is happening to my computer, I seem to have answered a few of these qiestions and they, don't seem to be here. It has shut down on me 5 times today while sending emails, yet the Telecom guy was supposed to have fixed the problem now it is worse.
Linda, I think you have done a lovely job making Gumdrop. Her clouring is lovely. XXXX June.
I also am working at my college (I'm 54) and we just had "rush week". I started Dec 29th and will work (full time) till Jan 23. I'm trying to pay part of my tuition (I'm taking 6 classes) for Jewelry Maunfacturing, Design, and Repair. I'm supposed to graduate in mid May 09. We'll see. I'm far behind. I did this for Fall and now I'm back (classes just started last Mon) plus I go to school full time nights! So I'm there at college for 15 hrs a day, then come home and answer forum!!! :o
I teach a few classes here and there, plus I do art shows (doing them less as these babies are not exactly light). Don't forget to go in forum under classes and ........... uh...... well anyway the classes section and see if anyone posted in there about classes closer to you. I'm in MN so that wouldn't do you any good. I have had someone from IA who drove up and took my classes last summer. Now she wants me to come down to her for another class. I might do that.
Wish I could hun! But I guess I'm a "frozen tundra" woman, staying up here in the Northland and FREEZING MY EVERYTHING OFF! OOOO sorry about that outburst, must have gotten an ice cycle stuck on me! lol
