I think the one I like the best is the first one. A BB kit I believe. I have that one (the name escapes me at the moment). If I had to choose another one I think it would be the little one in the blue dress/white pinafore w/red heart. I think the reason I like the first one the best is that the coloring is pretty good, and she's less shiny than all the other ones. Have you tried the matte sealer for the shiny spots? It works wonders.
I also like the coloring on the first one. (or maybe it's that adorable dress!! :)))

Actually the shine is when I take my pictures. I do use the matte finish and only the last one really has shine and that one was my first but my 17 year old daughterr has seemed to of claimed him biggrin. I can't seem to get pictures though without shiney spots, reflections I guess any suggestions? It's winter here in Maineso I haven't been able to try outside pictures. I realize that photo quality makes a world of difference.
I've added 2 pics. to show you the difference in photo shine but not sure what does it. One she is very shiney and the other looks fine.
My husband has said that my pictues don't show my babies true color and he mentioned the shine that shows up but not being a photgrapher not sure how to fix.
Thank you

I see! It looks like a totally different doll. Try taking the pic in natural light (outside once) without the flash. Or just in a bright window with no flash.

Thank you.
The outdoor picture taking will have to wait between ice storm and snow today living in Maine does not allow a lot of oustside pictures in the winter.hmm
What a sweet face your baby Beth Eliza has. I just love the chubby cheeks she has too. I also really liked her eyebrows. They are a challenge for me.
I lost my Mom 5yrs. ago this month and she would of loved these babies. She loved both dolls and babies. Each one I make I think... "Mom would of loved this one". Of course she was so patriotic I would of had to dress each one in red, white and blue. LOL.

We had a snowstorm last Sunday and it's been -25 degrees F with the windchill here! So ya, I know what you mean about frozen! We here in MN (the frozen tundra lol) are wearing all our long-johns hehehe
Maybe just a large window with some bright sunlight (although you probably have lots of clouds). My husband has been to Maine several times.

I'm so jelous, all that snow. All we ever get here in my part of the U.K is rain, rain, oh yeah and maybe a bit more rain, LOL.
My kids would love to have proper snow for once. If we do ever get snow it is just a dusting overnight and it is gone by lunchtime.
Sorry, just rambling on here!!!.

Beautiful babies! I'm with Pat, I love the baby in the first picture the best, so adorable!  However they are all just lovely! I had the same problem with my pictures as well. When I can't get outside, I usually set my babies near a really bright window and that seems to work. Although I still am a horrible photographer (I blame it on the camera wink ), it works for the shiney spots.

Aww thanks hun, I guess I blamed the camera for so long and so convincingly my hubby is starting to agree.  I think that's what Santa's bringing me this year wink. A Pat-cicle huh, he he he.  Don't worry Pat from what I here I'll be joining you this weekend.  Supose to get frigid here as well! YUCK!  I use to ejoy the winter weather until I got older. Not anymore, although a white Christmas now and then would be nice smile.  It seems to snow every other day BUT Christmas no. I'll take spring/fall like weather all year long if I could now.

I'd love to send some snow to London if I could hun! My friends in Australia want some too! Although they don't want the frozen tundra hehehe. They still want to be able to swim in the ocean!

Tina, where are you in the USA? I forget where every one is at.

YUP! Pat-cicle! I got my 40 pound coat out now, it's in the van. I take it with me just in case, along with my shovel, knee high boots, mittens (scarves and hats too) and then a few blankets just in case. I have water in the van but it doesn't do much good as it's frozen solid! But I suppose if worse came to worse, I can always cut the bottle open and chew on the ice lol lol hehehe brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night (till tomorrow)!

I'm in NJ. We don't get that much snow here were I need a emergency kit in the car LOL but we've been in the teens the past few days an we were blessed with a nice little ice storm Sunday morning YUCK. They say it going to warm up (in the 20's hehehe) then a big storm to follow. We haven't had cold cold weather like this in a few years so I'm not use to it. Last year this time we were outside decorating for Christmas in T-Shirts!

We hit a heat wave yesterday... 23 degrees F! A few days before that we were -20F and then throw in the wind! I think that made it about -45F or something like that. I tried to stay in but I hadn't finished my Christmas shopping lol! :o

Well, here's to the New Year... may it be wonderful for everyone, everywhere! My wish!

WOW that's great! Two babies sold just by taking them out. Do I need to learn a thing or two lol.

Well, only 3 more months before we start thawing out here. Although it did sleet then freeze like little glass pellets on everything. Made a mess for driving I guess but I didn't even stick my nose out the door!
