Ok well I had some trouble with the head. Stripped the engraved hair lining removed the factory paints. This baby is a citytoy baby. I didn't want to chance buying one online yet till I can see if I liked reborning 1st with a cheaper baby. As you can see I have some chalkiness under the babies mouth and between the eyes. Hopfully when I blush it goes away :( I am so scared. I LOVE the arms so much! Texturing with a sponge was so fun! Ofcourse I did that after the flesh pouncing. I tried veining messed up on a few because they came out too dark but most of them came out well I think. Very suttle though. I just hope eyes more blushing and rooting goes well or ill cry and give up hehehe. I am using genesis. Should I try coloring the creases? As you can see I am sticking with the natural body for this one. The next one I will use a soft body. I can use all the help I can get. I really need to figure out a way to get rid of that chalky look. Here are some pictures sorry for the quality. I read somewhere that someone said using a flash flushes the baby colors out? So I didn't use a flash :(

You are doing a great job for your first time. I have found the chalkiness shows up after the paint has been baked or the thinner flashes off it you have put it on too thick. Try putting your paint on a little thinner next time. My first baby was so chalky and white that I threw it in a box and it is still up in a closet because it would take alot of goof off to strip it! LOL My little girl has a reborn cititoy baby that was a practice baby and she takes it everywhere. People at church know that doll is Emerson's! Keep up the good work
